Last of Feb. One more month till school~ *grin cant wait! ^^ Been sleeping real late for the past few days... mainly 'cooking porridge' over the phone with nor and stuff. =) At least i didnt get any sleepless night.. This week's schedule will be pretty occupied due to in addition of two new students. Hopefully can swim tml.. Initally, was heading home with Charlene.. but since we were out and why not grab a bite and chill out or something~ Lunched at PS's kfc.. *gesh... ate junk food the entire day. On our way to kfc. Spotted Levis outlet having sales.. woo...( did i just mention sales??! ) *playful grin.. and this goes on popping into one shop and another and another... *lol.. the list goes one.. hehe.. From PS we walked to Hereens.. Charlene's mom joined us for awhile during her lunch break. It was fun looking at her hinting to her mom about the stuffs she has in mind.. *grin. cute~ ^^ tried on quite a few tops.. in the end bought two tops from topshop~ Had to rush off to tutor, conicidentally the student's home is near her estate. It was really fun to catch up with gal pals.. so many things in common. One of the topic would be shopping!! ( aha, u caught me! ) =X Dinner with sinyee and Jester @ Mos, another round of junkie.. but i had my fav drink *tada.. strawberry milkshake..~ another round of shopping spree.. a retro design orange off shoulder top and purple heels! *Changing image.. Before i forget "Happy 20th Birthday to Normala" =) *wink~ tried to reach u via your home phone but your sis said ya aint home. Hey.. i'll promise i'll sing ya a Bday song on saturday... unless you dont mind my singing.. Watched American idol.. aww judd's elimination, like his elvis's song.. and sarah's song too.. but well the decision goes to the american voters.. Also caught The Bachelor.. lol.. tv bummer aint i? haha.. the bachelor has to choose either one of the ladies and propose to her.. my vote goes to Tara!! boy, do i like her character.. spontaneous, bubbily, outgoing, etc..( these are characteristics which money cant buy ) *cross my fingers for her.. wee.. broke my own swim record. 40 laps today! though was the only gal in the deep pool most of the time.. also ended up sunburnt with rosy chubby cheeks.. plans for today? hmm... nothing interesting. Boring and quite relaxed day with just one tutoring and plans for another long distance jogging, reading and tv bumming at night watching American idol ( watch for entertainment ) woohoo... two hours of it *wide grin. prepared double portion of lunch and shared it with student.. combination of cheese, cabbage, egg sandwiches. Gald he liked it.. me too!! coz he's a non singaporean, his dad's not in sg and for this week his mom's working till late.. so~ just a little thought~ (^_^) Been dressing tomboyishly lately~ my trend? baggy polo tee with short skirt. *smirk. watched the American idol.. not bad.. not bad.. find the female contestants pretty cool.. *thumbs up. back from morning tutoring~ *lol. ended up talking abt comedy movies, starwars and other pc games, funny experiences as "commerical breaks" with the student. ^^ It's his last chinese CA paper today~ Yesterday tutoring session with student, JP, was also fun he started poking me.. and we ended up poking each other and laughing *poke poke*~ and coz he was half dressed, i teased about his 'spare tyres' which leads to more laughter and poking~ *playful us~ though initally i was sort of pissed that he purposely make me wait for half an hour outside his home until his mom came home.. (how dare he *urgh~ nvm have to forgive & forget ) hence called dom to catch up with him during that 'waiting period' thanks godpa~ =) After that was travelling to another student's home.(again??! yea, again~) Regan called and had a sudden invitation to his bbq at that moment. Great to hear from the good old jolly dude.. still remember his fav phrase " hey mike~ " Now im excited abt watching the upcoming movies!! *smirky grin. starting with hitch, limmericks and the unfortunate events, mask2, star wars, charlie and the chocolate factory *grin...no no.. no horrorifying movies, if not i'll probably covering my eyes. Gotta admitt this sounds pretty 'dumb' but i like swinging my little ponytail~ *shh... ^^ *silly blush. chilled out at the jamming performance at esplanade with buddy jester yesterday, after a long shopping trip scouting for a particular top for sinyee. See sinyee u gota be touched man! *smirk. :P The performance area was packed =) There was a Taiwan two dude band, not bad.. they have talents. Looks like i have to brush up on my terrible Chinese..Gotta admitt my ears were semi deaf after their performance. =) This song "if you are not the one" was playing on taka's huge TV when we passby. After hearding it, recalled some memories. *sniff sniff.. lol. Felt under the weather especially yesterday's morning, skipped breakfast and lunch as well.. aint any appettite to eat initally didnt even wanted to eat dinner.. but ended up at NYDC ate amigo pasta and lemon shiver (juice) i love the tingling sension from the lemon. Had enjoyable conversations with Jester too.. *waves hi Sarah~ incase ya reading this.. yep, thanks for leaving a tag on the blog. Dont worry i was merely just joking abt that dude whom you went out with on Valentine's day :P Devi are i gona attend this conventional award ceremony today ( and i dont even know how to go there ).. Well six sense told me that she's ignoring me regarding it, contacted her twice.. oh well guess that's 'kite flying'~ but cant she at least response?? *shakes head disappointedly from all the excitement.. darn been disappointed for the past few days from pple who are close to me or perhaps they dont take me seriously.. *shrugs.. and try to lit up a weak smile.. Could you smell it? it's the weekends.. (: *smirk. Days ago was told that i'll be updated by Ben for tennis game and Yenching for a dinner.. but they went MIA. *phew~ anyway ain't into going out these days.. perfer to chill out at home with a book, music or tv. Perhaps i became a 'homely' person. ^^ Back from the pool with sis @ tpc, went library to borrow some novels *bookworm (0-0) *lol and shopped alittle. Bought a white 'zip on' sweater ( which looks like Old Navy's design ) and beach skirt ( with the words 'surf patrol' at the back ) *grin didnt try and turned out it's quite loose, slipping off alittle from my hip. Received buddy Ray's sms that he's gone and will be back from holiday 24feb.. hmm think he went HongKong~ *shopping praradise~ ^^ tutored a boy and encountered a shocking incident, half way during tutoring, he stood behind me with a knife in a joking manner asking 'if i want my life or money'.. ( yea, you heard me correct~ a knife, it's not a butter knife which is used to spread butter on the bread but a quite huge knife, probably for cutting fruit,. of coz not that huge like some chopper ) Anyway, he placed it very near my throat coz i felt something on my neck. Morning's tutoring was awesome and fun! =) the student really made my day *grinning from ear to ear~ ^^ We were revising maths for his paper this afternoon, spent the last half an hr testing his mental sums. It started with 'timetables' and i made more challenging by adding more more numbers and operations ( divide, plus , minus )*tsk. The piano's gone.. the moment i came home. relaxed and another round of room packing *lol.. greatest achievement today, would be jogged and walked at least 4km, all the way to the extended bishan park for an hour plus. Didnt know i could perform better than i could. (^^,) Back to the training routines.. Pool tml~ Initally Simeon would be dropping by to further improve on the pc.. but due to fyp in school.. encouraged him to finish his fyp first another day is fine by me. another midweek~ boring and ultra humid and hot wednesday~ *urgh.. think the weather in North pole would be much cooler.. :P Surprisingly received a call from Estee- sales lady whom i've pissed last year. Devi was working in the same company as her.. (some long story) yea, she called and invited me and Devi for conventional ceremony. (-.-") Though it doesnt concern me and the guests would required to wear formal (white top and black bottom) So Devi and i will be attending it next monday.. gee.. i miss dressing formal.. =) Tml's TP open house.. so happened to be free the whole day tml after morning tutoring.. was thinking of joining in the fun with TP friends.. (they probably forgotten abt me *shrugs~) went back last year and found out that the library is real cool and retro. Yumei wont be involve in any activites except on Saturday... Hmm... ^^ Changed blogskin again.. as you can see.. yea, conincidentally Val had a liking for this layout too. *hi-5~ *grin. Though if possible i would wana modify the words on the layout (above) coz those phrases doesnt meant much to me.. a summary of the past week It was Valentine's Day yesterday~ Didnt received anything neither did i give anything, unless sms 'wishing' could be counted *lol. joked with Val, that we were ij trainned. *hi-5~ ( : ( coz ij is a convent school ) Met up with sinyee and went for alittle window shopping meanwhile we happen to bump into Sarah and her guy friend. *ahem ahem. lol.. Sinyee and i each bought a top, make a guess wot will a levis fan buy? duh.. a levis top. lol *lame joke *hehe.. while i unexpectedly bought a dull pink topshop tube. After that dinner at Suntec followed by chilling out with her and Jester @ esplanade.. ( Oops am the extra light bulb should have told them that i felt sick and cant join them ) but hey at least i gave them some private time while heading to the ladies and chilling out at the jamming area.. Came across a pub named "harry" somehow due to it's curvsive signboard font it looks like "horny" to me.. *lol. horny pub. Surprisingly, somehow just discovered that im starting to like jamming =X. Swam 31 laps in the afternoon..think the other pool user probably think im a freak, continously swimming.. hey but it's fun =P Went for youth meeting on saturday. (^^,) my group was given gobstopper bubble gum cum sweet which last for 3 to 4 hours in consuming, it looks like a smaller version of dino egg. there were pink, purple, lime green, yellow but i chose blue~ =) on the same day bought a white polo tee and two running jerseys.. Chilled out with Jos last wednesday at the pool too and had girl talk about almost everything under the sun- sch, guys, fashion, food, etc.. *grin~ We also went for mini shopping at tpc.. bought a black spag. Followed by pri sch mates CNY home visiting.. learnt to play a new poker game. It's called the Queen's Cup. Basically there will a bowl or huge cup of alcohol mixed drink.. and the losers have to take sips of it. The worst combination of alcohol that day was milk added with absolute vodak with coke. *phew i was the luckiest to taste just a sip of it.. *smirk and the last player had to finish wot's left in the cup. The first day of CNY went to granny's house.. was better than i expected coz i always dread to go to granny's house. i dont really open up to my relatives..surprisingly i had a fun conversation with my cousin who's currently in NS.. he too studied in MDIS, which i found out that moment, so there was a common topic. Watched my latest midnight show- Seoul raider with buddy Ray, it was almost 1am and boy was it crowded. *its my mom's bday today. =X cant let the cat outta the bag by revealing her age.. hehe cant wait to see her blow the candles~ woke up late again for the morning tutoring. *urgh.. but had an enjoyable time with the student, taught him how to make use of his creative imaginations and 'bring it to life' in his composition. shared some funny stuffs like the show, 'god must be crazy' ( an african dude who has been hit by a glass coca cola bottle from the sky ) and some of my secondary and primary playful experiences.. One of them was, during sec2 had to draw and paint a Van gouh's pic of sunflower hence we had to get sunflowers. Friends and i (sarah, rudith, the rest i cant remember, were u there, sinyee?) were standing at the border of the fourth level, staring down at the crowd below us. sarah and i playfully plucked the sunflower petal, aim and allow it to drop freely into some RI dude's collar.. well to cut the story short. that dude suddenly looked up and we 'siam' leaving rudith carrying the sunflower as evidence! *tsk.. had fish curry, raw fish (jap style), etc for dinner. *lick my fingers. yum.. :P had alittle chat with yuejun and she recommended me where to taste the yummiest fish curry (somewhere in little india) next time, if i really happen to indulge in their curry, i'll have to bring a box of tissue to wipe my spicy 'tears' *silly grin. received a funny 'chinese' CNY sms from Val, wanted to share with friends hence forwarded to them (: had to tutor 3 kids in a straight row hence pack some milk biscuits and raisins as lunch.. but turn out to be eating them with one of the student. initally he told me he was 'sick' of eating bisuits.. who knows he gobble up most of my food. er...*lol. kids- they always dont mean wot they say~ *chuckle softly. =) Nearly started world war3 with dad. It started when he saw my squash racket and commented that it's a stupid sport which will soon be extinct. i felt the way he said it was alittle insulting and it happens that i find squash quite an interesting game.. a sport which enables the player to sweat out. Well i raise my voice and spoke my views on it..thx god he didnt blow up, if not... *shakes head* smirk~ one of my friend, Cui cui, managed to return to SICC to work as waiteress(her passion). Am gald for her coz she once caused 'trouble' there which nearly involve law (coz she isn't a singaporean) and also be close to someone she likes. didnt know it was so fun to decide what on which pc spare parts to buy~ (^^,) Last min decided to get custom made pc with a help of mom's friend who happened to be a church brother. Am eyeing on samsung 17" flat screen, wana add on some games features too ( alittle influence by 3 boy students and their interest in pc games ) =X hmmm wot else to add on to make it an entertaining pc? still looking for another mp3 player.. hmm.. budget and design-ipod shuffle aint out yet, am tempted to get another ipod. *blush.. well initally was feel sort of queer looking around for pc with mom, and the sales pple had the 'cant be bothered' attitude and look but at least now, i know what i'll be aiming for. *smirk~ it will be a busy day tml. 3 rounds of tutoring...*oh pls spare me* good news would be able to receive salaries soon! jogged 3km today.. pass some tarts to sinyee and two students. *cross my fingers that they like it. =) the interesting part of my day was.... *tsk. Well one of my student's aunt was dropping by his home and his mom didnt want his aunt to know that he has private tuition at home.. coz his aunt likes to gossip. Hence.. requested 'us' to go downstairs (void deck) and cont'd to tutor~ well, his worried mom was worrying we might conicidentally bump into his aunt coz she has no idea which direction will she be walking from. Yea.. but it was a hilarious and 'fun' incident~ (^^,) while searching for a suitable table and environment, our 'spot' turned out to be near a bomb shelter shop and it was my first time visiting it~ quite a innovative idea, coz if anything happens, there will be loads of food supply in the bomb shelter. Hands smells of butter and eggs~ *eww.. lol, coz i was making pineapple tarts. Kinda excited in the first place and spent alot of time in the kitchen *weee~ *playful smirk, did two batches.. one before tutoring with sis and another batch mainly alone at night while listening to the radio, one man show eh? :P Brought some samples for students.. comments from my parents about the 1st batch- tarts' size were quite big, tarts' skin were sort of thick, sugar aint mixed well, etc..*hehe.. learn from mistakes (^^,) well as for the second batch..i find it sort of dry, but the size's smaller ( if ya wondering how small? probably the size of your eyeballs ) lol.. me and my over creative imaginations right? haha...yea but the tarts are really yummy.. *gives myself a pat on my back* admitt am having alittle pineapple phobia now. =X Next wk~ gona buy chocolate chips..then i'll make chocolate tarts. *grin. Well gona share them with friends (sinyee, norm, ray, ian, val, vai, etc.. and the list goes on~) and students. Come to think of it..tart making's pretty cool and fun.. well, it also helps bonding with family~ *winks.
