Went to the library to borrow some books. Swim kids gave me Teachers' Day present... make a guess what it was? *grin. Its a 50 spf sunblock lotion. Absolutely an ideal present. =) Truly grateful for the super sunny weather today as well. The sun rays were shimmering on the water like diamonds.

Dropped by Ikea after coaching to get some colourful hangers. Snapped some interesting pictures that caught my eyes. Two 'dead' penguins on a rat cushion which i find it rather amusing. Followed by dogs' hangers.... Oops, i ate hot dog at ikea, guess their other half might be in my stomach. Last but not least, its Audrey Hepburn! i like the abstract picture of her feminine pose. Its so oldies!

Im in a cartoon crave! Over the Hedge, Chicken Little, etc...

Had tonnes of fun during coaching at childcare today!! The kids are simply so playful yet adorable. Likewise, so am i! After dry land exercise in their classroom, we started to play!!! The magic word "play".

I started swinging kids like a pendulum to and fro, swinging them 360 degrees around (this is easier for the lighter weigh kids *phew) Their excitement grew while tugging my clothes, snatching to be the next to be carried. For a moment i thought..... gosh! This is not gonna be endless. Boy, was i right and its only the start.

The other coach started lifting them to touch the ceiling which was kinda tedious for me after lifting some, I was chasing around pretending to be the "shark" in the ocean and tickling them *grin, piggyback them till i was tired and lie flat on the floor and there they go.... piling up on me. The unglamourous moment with messy hair and loads of laughter but definitely a moment i enjoyed. The only times i played so much is when im with the kids... =)

In blink of an eye, the kids surrounded me as i was sitting and gave free massage all over. You bet, its even better than an osim chair. They take turns running back and forth massaging each of us..

Can't help it.... but i just love these kids. (Didn't managed to take all of the kids just a few selection cause they are all running around) They make me feel that im at the right place at the right time.*huge smile

Im gona be at the Orchard's MMI next month onwards too, that my 3rd outlet !

time for a new coat of nail polish. (: i simply love the Mac pink nail colour. Suits my skin colour and its eye catching and feminie. Student's mom definitely has great taste!

The Sun was out! Thank God! Immediately took the chance to splash in pool! Felt destress after the swim. Knew a young vietnam lady while travelling today, she just gotten married here.

I'll be taking Austswim course next month in Australian International School, which is the Australian Council for the teaching of swimming and water Safety. That will lead me to a gateway to work as a swim instructor in Australia and local international schools! Meanwhile, there are international jobs swim teachers are needed in New zealand, South africa, Sydney, USA, etc.

From my swim class, glad i knew more friends in there (:

Chilled out at Kino after work. I've always like spending serene time in BIG bookstores. Flipped through receipes of cookies and cup cakes.Im excited in baking it rather than consuming them. Its the fun part of the process that intrigued my interest.

Yesterday's church sermon was on the topic about not worrying. God is bigger than all our worries!

Dropped by Ikea after work. I was freezing and shivering in the air con bus... a hair rising experienced. Gotten warmer after having a hot dog.... boy, do i like the hot dogs there.

Went home hugging my two huge cushions on the streets like Santa with an extended belly, inevitably gotten glances... cause didn't wana carry huge bulky bags. Now im gona have a cushion party in my room! Imagine im covered up by the cushions while im sleeping. =) Im gona more cushions there next time im there.

Surprise gift from swim kid, Dyllis's mom. It was Dyllis last lesson before she head back to Shang Hai. Gee, im gonna miss her but she'll be back in december. Initally from the packaging of the box, it looks like a huge cup or perhaps a wooden box but... unexpectedly its a musical twirling bumble bee toy set. After winding it, the music comes on and the bees will 'dance' in circles one after another which was really interesting.

Im sure, many friends of mine didn't know im into musical boxes with ballerina twirling and water crystal balls with figurings and gilters or snow flakes inside. I like to admire the way they decend in slow motion. Thats the girly side of hester! Bet you didn't know that *grin. Its really rare to find them in stores these days but i've two small ones.

student Aurelia (regan's sister) made a purple 'lava lamp' from a water bottle for my belated bday. How sweet and very creative indeed, i've always wanted a lava lamp.... someday going get one for my room. Imagine i get my hands on a glow in the dark lava lamp, woa, thats cool! Sy and norm gotten Nike pink bottle for me. Unbelievable, it was something i wanted which was in another colour. (:

Received my bday and surprises for me from Carie, through post. Thanks!! i could tell our friendship really meant alot for her. Gona do some catching up after our 'peak period'.

posted some pics.. yes, its the kids again. attended my first SSA lecture class. The female lecturer is so animated, totally enjoyed her lesson but from what i heard, the theory exam seems to be real difficult. Marks will be deducted for mcq parts, if questions answered wrongly. Oh gee... but with God all things are possible. If i were to look at the trials from a keyhole perspective, i would have belittle God's power. now, i won't would i? *wide grin!

Im feeling so so so thankful cos nearly missed my steps from the top of the stairs and closed to falling down.Imagine bleed oozed out from the back of my head. *ouch.. no doubt about it that, My Abba father protected me! =)

Kids-Evan and Dyllis are back! So excited to see them once again. They are staying in the Swissotel hotel during their 2 wks stay in sg. So had to coach in the hotel's pool. Evan's superbly hyper.. so adorable that he never fails to capture people's attention.

First he was chasing me in the hotel room, next punching and the next moment catching my toes, cos he was attracted by my light blue nails with excited laughter.Next, hugging my leg as i tried to walk and again another next, jumping from bed to bed.Swinging and throwing up to catch him in mid air. Boy, he's rather heavy for a 3 yr old hence soon my arms started to fatigue but he wants more and the funny part was he tried to carry me instead. gee.. i think he already has problem carrying a adult size fluffy pillow. Dyllis swam 1.8m depth! a 6 yr old kid braver than most of my friends i must say (:

There were so many fair foreigners sun bathing at the pool. I was wondering... hey, ain't you guys out there shopping in sg instead of sun bathing?? After the swim, treated them chocolate pastries snacks! They loved it. I could tell Evan was enjoying coz he was finger licking the chocolate toppings which were smudged over his cheeks and fingers. *awww.. cute.

more coachings after that, Thank God for the sunny weather... a tiring but happening day indeed. More happenings to come tml packed schedules.

Someone is gona owe me a GIANT hot dog with mustard since i passed today's swim selection test. I kept asking from God and i received it ( : Butterflies fluttering in my stomach since afternoon. Forty swimmers were chosen out of sixty-one participants. I was so so so nerve wrecking. From next week onwards im on a new swim course and attachments in total 3 months i guess. Gona be more busy and packed! Not forgetting work schedules.

Godchasers pre-celebrated my 22th birthday last Saturday with a mango fruit cake. *grin.. (Thank You guys!) i love the present, an interesting spiritual book to read. Its about how guys look/view girls, in ways that girls don't see it. That will sure kill time in a redemptive way while travelling.

I went for body analayis yesterday, i lost 1.5kg in 3 weeks in a healthy manner. Happy with the results. =) Keep it up, hester! Shall cycle tml.

Spent hours and more hours in the pool at work today. Childcare.. greeted with warm greetings and smiles. Yes, of cause more photo taking as well. *grin. Can't wait to develop more new pics as my room decorations. The challenge would be discipling the kids, especially boys. I could shout at the top of my lungs and they still turn a deaf ear. Most of them 'prefer' to learn lessons the harder way.

swam with Kay (to practise for upcoming test) and followed by lunch at Prata House. Banana and Cheese Prata.... here i attack! =) chomp chomp.

Enjoyed conducting swim lessons this few days. Handled three groups of new kids (first lesson) Two groups were from childcare's new outlet. I managed to remember most of their names. Shockingly, four kids 'slipped' one at a time into the pool (rather deep for them) and almost 'drown'... imagine the anxiety in me when i dashed across to save them from the water. Some weighs heavily some are like woah... so light. i could swing them over my head easily.

Their shocked expressions and bulging wide eyes with fear were implanted in my mind. i think i'll freak out if i ever discovered a drowned kid. Coaxed and ensured that they were brave to enter compared with their other water phobia friends. On the positive side, there's a few kids whom are so excited to swim. One particular cute boy, Bryan, likes to leap to me in the water from his seat even when im standing near him and its yet his turn for his swim. I punished him by poking his stomach gently. *grin.

Yesterday learnt about some makeup stuffs while window shopping. Its fun to be a girl!
