Ever felt that the moment you woke up and at that instant not a single word was being able to be blurted out from your throat?? well, it happens to me and with a great pain in my throat.... and thats when i knew i've gotten a real bad sore throat.

Some unusual things happened today, need a little privacy on that hence wont be saying much about it but im gald God has moulded my characters for such situations. Characters of being persistance, quick thinking, trusting, forgiving, comforting, encouraging, etc. (: It just unknowingly built up within me but they are here to stay in me, thats for sure!

I sense a need of earnest prayers, for swim kid from chest infection, her grandma's in hospital, Sinyee's mom operation for cancer scanning, for close friends who aint have the urge to know God. One can't just know God or that He merely exist but to come to experience Him! Real experiences counts..

kinda lack of sleep this weekends. Much to do and just nice, ample time to accomplish. My relationship with God grew closer as well. Godchasers are incharged of the Hebrews cafe duty in church today!! It was a great team work. Praise God! Where and how to start blogging about it. Hmm... perhaps the pictures could start the ball rolling for me. (:

I was incharged of the frontline with becky! i find it rather cool cause its kinda like a waiteress taking orders. I have always wanted to try out the position of a waiteress cause its an different experience and i like interacting with customers but never get the chance to work in any cafe. The black waist aprons worn are real cool as well! Nevertheless the members in the kitchen have put in alot of effort as well. Check out their candid shots while preparing food. I had to take their pictures secretively *tsk tsk...

was eyeing on one of the blackforest cake with the cherry on top but in the end bought the coffee slice. The ice milo tasted yummy! The kid (his name's Matthew) was posing with a while smile in superman shirt was super duper adorable (yes.. i love kids so so much!) thanks for his friend's help (im encouraged by the fact that kids are very helpful in times of need, really!) cause Matthew was avoiding the camera with a sulk on his face initally. Thinking back, i do sulk alot too when i was a little kid too!

an interesting incident at the pool cause swim kids resume their lessons after a halt of 4 months. One of the kid is just primary one and all of the sudden, he became so hairy on his forearm and sideburn!! gosh.. he has grown taller too! Well, being the usual hester, i kept teasing him. He's one great kid for sure.. love his enthusiam at times. Once he was singing "My redemeer lives" by Hillsong (as he heard in school) during swim lesson and the tune implanted into my head for quite a while till now. I still remembered the joy that filled him as he was singing it. (:

Few days ago i was feeling down, i could sense my cheerfulness drying up and realising that i havent been having a heartily laughter... but God never leaves me, He comforted me as i was doing quiet time and He even sent people to comfort me as well! Im just gratefully thankful to all. Share a verse: "A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance, But by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken." (proverbs 15:13)

From the story of Jonah and the big fish (as i was doing Experience God), i was once again reminded that God is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, a God who relents from sending calamity. (Jonah 4:2)

God often gives second chance and He is interested in developing our characters. He wants the very best for us, His commands are not to limit or restrict us but to free us to experience the most meaningful life possible. Blessings of joy comes when we trust and obey Him! (:

My very first trip to Night Safari ever in my life. went there to dine with Pinfen, a surprise visit for Elaine whose working there. (: Saw the performance of Timbaktu-"bush man" dancing, blowing darts with their spears, playing with fire (consuming them), drumming, etc.

Night Safari isn't the best place to dine, a plate of normal chicken rice will cost you $14. Half a dozen of satay will cost $12.. and the list goes on, since im had sweeth tooth, decided with desserts. Its much cheaper to dine at East Coast Park or Chomp Chomp with a similar environment. (:

Still Craving for sweet and chocolate desserts.. Its a high price to pay to indulge in them. (oh yea, remember the jogs, hester!!) Guess what? mom decided to head gym with me on friday morning! (:

Was watching animal planet in the afternoon, the episode was about divers lovers exploring Coco island, off Central America, which is formed by a volcano. One of the world's best diving spots, for different species of marine animals. Diving is way cool but dangerous on the other hand. Imagine myself surrounded by sharks.. i'll turn pale white instantly! Meanwhile, i think it should be very safe watching them from a tv box! *smirk

Happy 22nd Birthday to Simeon!

I need more jogs and i really meant alot alot and alot.... slow jogged 4km today. Sometimes i just felt like giving up half way during a jog/run. Press on!

My fringe was trimmed yesterday. Weather's been super hot and humid, my best friend has been the fan these days. *smirk

Sis just gotten her Civil Defence's uniform (cca in school) and boots. Over the period, i've heard about her pushing up trainings. Gald i aint into uniform group stuffs. Woa, imagine her in the Civil Defence force in the army. Hmm... thats too far a thought. (:

Ignite 3-days conference was truely an experience, though i only managed to attend the second and third night. During the second night which was yesterday, the message was about encountering spiritual earthquake and being release from sin, death, fear and bondage. (:

Just like how the prisoners felt in (Acts chapter 16) when they were held as captives with Paul and Silas. But that did not detered Paul and Silas from singing hymns to God and praying (instead of blaming their situations), while the rest was listening to them attentively. Suddenly there was an earthquake that caused the prison foundations to break loose and chains were loosen. God was so real to them.

Likewise, God is real to us in this age too. Its the choice of letting circumstances overcomes us or us overcoming the circumstances with God. God knows that the pressure of the circumstances will deter us but He also has made a way out, which is to deal those with Him. (:

I'll definitely be sharing more powerful and real testimonies with my friends!

Share some points which touched me during bible study. Speaker: Pastor Daniel.

I am too busy. I have no time for Christ.

Aint the above sentences sounds familiar? well, it does to me. (: However, many a times, im caught up with things in the world, building up treasures (studies, career, personal goals, etc) on earth. What i tend to forget is that, im living on borrowed time, I don't know how i will live. Live everyday like its your last day. People of all ages, including the young can decease anytime. God is the author and finisher of our faith.

There is only one step between me and death, i encountered it before. As i was crossing the road on, an old lady crossing in the opposite direction behind me was hitted by a taxi. She flew a few metres away and landed on the ground with her bags of groceries. I was protected cause the victim might be me. Imagine im so caught up with my personal life without God, giving excuses to God that im too busy to be saved. Illustration: in a submarine, being so busy admiring the fishes and air is running out and the rescuer is there to rescue me. Instead of being rescued, i carried on looking at the exotic fishes and telling the rescuer not to bother me cause im too busy to be saved.

What profits a man if he gains the whole world but loses his whole soul? the man may seems wise for a moment but fool forever. (: Life is good, but ETERNAL life is better!

I am a free thinker. I don't believe in God.

There are many kinds of free thinkers, those that believe in many gods exist but don't wish to be involved. Those that, doesn't believe that God exist (Atheist) they believe in scientific theory, like men are from the monkey species. By chance, things happened, again by chance the earth is formed by itself. Im surprise there are indeed many people believing in this theory.

Pastor Daniel illustrated, why not remove all the circuits and cell phone parts, put all in a box... shake it many times, hopefully by chance, the ciruits and parts join and fits together at the exact position that its suppose to be. Even a kid can tell that the possibility of it happening is Zero. The unit of the simplest cell is already so complicated, what about the cells in our human body that is so well structured that even more complicated. (: There is no explaination for intelligence, needless to say God does exist.

Last night's debate show, The Arena, was interesting but somehow rather the debate topic can go around the bush. Imagine im the team, boy will a be taken back and lost in words. Felt the tremors from the earthquake, thought it was my head that was feeling dizzy since it suddenly happened not long ago after i woke up.

Had a long day at work at the pools but had lunch with Elaine. :) Had Char Siew noodles and she had Penang Laksa! Sounds good, aint it! indeed! As for the healthy factor... er, no idea but the yummy factor is splendid. Both of us like Dim Sum too! The kids are rather talkative today at the pool. I love to hear what they have to say. One of them even reminded me that i forgot to teach her somersault after the end of the lesson today, oh gee.. "im sorry." But im sure she'll anticipate the following lesson next week then! :)

Bumped into coach at the pool entrance... greeted with a smile plastered on his face. Whats he doing there?! He's the last person, i've least expected, since he doesnt frequent my area's pool. Or am i still in my dreamland since its 8am plus. *Pinch... ouch.

Morning swim with Kay, i couldn't be much happier to feel the sun rays. Was taught hyperventilating to the max inorder to stay longer underwater and interesting stories of her experiences in diving. Felt that i could inhale so much more powerfully and smoothly. She and i ended up doing handstands and swimming relays too that means loads of splashing , bubbles and laughing! whereas the other swimmers seems to be quiet and in slow motion. *Oops.. Wonder what other water tricks can try out the next time pool time.

Time flies, J's flying back tml. Just 3 words-Take care loads. (:

Just found out there're some new visitors to my blog, Oh hello! ~ *smile

Feeling all comfy from the rainy weather. From far, the rain looks like snowflakes falling while tunning to jazz and blues songs, reminds me of Christmas time. (:

Thinking of trying Underwater hockey, its just playing hockey at the bottom of the pool. Looks rather scary though cause everyone will be chasing after the hockey disc.
