how often does it rainned for hours? Conducted swim lessons at the childcare despite the wet morning, not forgetting to admitt that i actually overslept. =D Rushed off to the pool the soonest.. was half an hour late. *gee.. the first thing that came to my mind during bus journey was "surely being scolded" Phew... first lesson was cancelled but still on going for the second and wasn't scolded. Maybe my peanut butter breakfast for coach did work! *smirk

Totally enjoyed myself during the lesson in the drizzle. Was the kola mom again; afraid to the extend of hugging up to my neck- thank God still managed to breathe.... :P and was being tagged by many kids in the pool and bringing and leading them around like a mother octopus. This may sounds or look silly but hey its awesomely fun!

What concerns me was stopping and saving a few hyper daring kids jumping into the 1.2 pool without arm floats. They haven't learn to swim without arm floats!!!! They'll be drowned. Rescued the mischevious daring boy, Raven. His expression was "help! save me" , struggling in the pool and drinking water, which ended up coughing when surfaced from the water grasping for air. Another interesting kid, Calla. Get her way by crying, screaming and shouting... my my my..

Tonnes of things in my mind. Be it from parents, work, personal worries, etc... gona chuck them aside cause God promises that worries for a day is enough for that day. No point worrying for tml.... God i trust in Your promises and when all else fails, God never fails. =)

As i was walking towards MMI childcare today.... a sudden thought stroke my mind. Wondering what are the pre-school children's feelings upon heading school early in the morning. Would be be estatic? Grumpy? Afraid? Recalling my pre-school days time... a little girl wearing tiny uniform with tiny shoes n' socks.

The children at MMI sang loudly during National Anthem in the morning assembly. Didnt know they had to sing that coz unexpectedly reached earlier to inflat the arm-floats. Been 5 years since secondary days i've sang that. Im impressed by their singing...

On my way home, left slipper broke. *bummers~ walked half barefooted over some distance till gotten a suggestion to tie with rubber band from Yumei... hey! it worked. Praise God. So there... the slipper failed me. Captial F! Flunk... there it goes into the bin. Mom came to the rescue half way towards home. *grin

sinyee's gotten well from being ill. Praise God for healing her... =)

aint any swim lesson today! =D gotten to avoid the sun today....*grin.

SNL service was awesome, friend Andy came again, topic was about emotions. Governing our emotions. Emotions are feelings on the inside caused by pain or pleasure trying to move you to a direction. We cant judge or make a choice out of emotional feelings, cause it cant be trusted. Love is a choice and not a feeling. How one thinks can affects one's emotion, which leads to how one act. Christians are the reflection of God's love on Earth.

feeling tired from activities recently but excited.. managed to find time to get back to gym on Monday! Friend Wen Rui getting baptise tml... Praise God! Angels will be rejoicing!!!

soaked in 4 different pools today due to swim lessons. At MMI, swim kids have improved! the second nursery batch was so into calling "Teacher Hamster"... =D Adorable. Was a kola bear mom to two kids during lessons- Water phobia. Hugging so tight while the rest of kids were swimming freely in the pool but i sense some vinegar flavoured expressions. One of the gals said, 'carrying is for babies...' but i love all of the kids! *grin

So far, managed to share four times this week about God just out of the sudden. God is awesome why not? Spreading God's love around. Kinda like the new blog template. Something different... ate loads of garlic french toast bread yesterday and today!!! infact 5 of them from Breadtalk.. craving for more.. *smirk

God granted sunshine! *Praise Him. Interesting encounter at the pool as i was teaching. A bunch of Japanese kids came with huge floats and a float-boat, and boy are they tann! The float-boat reminded me of those ship related movies. Cant understand what the kids said due to language barrier but find them real funny and adorable. *grin

Though im teaching swimming but i dont have the time to swim!!!! Lessons after lessons. The pool's at the condo are really small and irregular shape. I miss swimming! Almost a month since i last gym.. time to get back real soon.

swim lesson at MMI childcare today. Coach made me did most of the coaching today. From warming up exercises to the moment they gotten back to class shivering but wrapped in their towels.. needless to say, he was dry and i wasnt. Guess he was trainning me to be more independent. =)

What touches me while conducting the lesson was... i have gained trust in the water phobia kids. i've proven my trust to them. This is indeed encouraging cause i see them enjoy swimming without having phobia and yet smiling. i could felt that there's just this "strengthen" bond between me and them. *huge grin

I noticed that coach was observing me at a few points of time, knowing that previously i've made mistakes. Thank god i was doing well, or rather i think i was doing well.. to conclude, i have faith i did well. *lol...what happened next, two hands handling with two water phobia boys. Two more naughty boys swam and clinged to me on purpose. Thats like a whole load to handle... but ended up with laughters and excited squeals till safely reached the pool's ladder. Imagine boys squealing like gals..... geesh, you wont wana hear that. Unless with ear plug in your ears. *smirk

Overcasted sky and heavy rainpour ,other swim lessons cancelled, which leaded me to hang out at the Toa Payoh library. Wanted to scout for some Christian books, found a few rather interesting ones among a small range. Gotta admitt, it aint easy to choose suitable Christian books, cause some are merely doctrines which expresses differently. Proud to admitt, I love reading the bible these days.

Last but not least, keeping everyone in prayer that comes in my mind. Praying for this weird headache which im recently encountering and for sunny weather for swim lessons!

Updates for past few days... Taught a new 4-years old individual girl. im very amazed that she could swim quite well at her age, she started learning swimming at 3-years old. i ended up reaching unexpectedly early for the lesson, was invited to her home by her mom. Cool! a whole shelf display of ballerinas, naturally the word "Graceful" came to my mind. While the kid was sipping milk from a princess Cinderalla cup.

Wednesday had Fast and Prayer church service. Gee.. Cheryl and Yanni was only allow to leave home at a much later time and alighted the wrong bus stop, if not im sure they'll enjoy the service too. Met up with them after and scout around town for video-ing ideas, dinner was at pepper lunch. A pre-celebration, its a really interesting way of dinner being served at pepper lunch. First you get to 'play' with the food... on the hot plate by mixing. Tasted kinda like fried rice. *yum. Enjoyed hanging out and catching up with them about their school life!

God's blessing is showering upon me. He has given me more students than i expected. Thankfully im able to juggle them with two tutoring students. School wise, im having holiday breaks. Not just physical blessing but He has also given spiritual blessing.. abundance of joy, love, peace.

Felt terribly sick past few days..... recalling now, cant remember much that happened revolving around me. Except no swimming, medicine and early rest. Now, i felt so much better, thanks for Godchasers' prayers. God is my strength! Now, its my turn to pray for those whom are still feeling sick.

gona do some Graffiti painting at home... Simeon's gona help do some painting too! parents allow a new coat of paint in every room. I shall be my own interior designer!!! This is gona be fun and creative!

Prayer answered. Baoqi and Yumei attended SNL! A surprised 21st Birthday celebration from Godchasers. *huge smile! a big thank you to all! =) embarassed to admitt face was turning as red as a tomato while they were singing the birthday song. This time round, i get to celebrate with Yumei as well.. we have the same birthday date, though 2 years apart. now now, how's like being 21? well... i'll tell u when im 21. Meanwhile, life with God no matter what age one may be, is always joyful and cheerful.

Bible study was enjoyable. Took pictures with the red and white moove media cows on the streets... on the way home, sinyee and i were taking fun shots in the Mrt, posing infront of many passengers... suddenly m1's advertisment came on saying "one life, live it" yea! absolutely agree! with our one life, lets tell about Jesus Christ!!!

Last but not least.... im craving for mooncake!!! durian mooncake... lotus mooncake... *smirk. and lets go tell the whole world about Jesus!

peace out!

Today's first batch of swim kids were rather rowdy during the lessons.... to my surprised during lessons, camera were rolling... parents were watching and it was filmed down by Channel news Asia. Took a short video too!

Yesterday worked at Bukit Timah hill's shop, reading Bible while tending the shop alone, how cool is that. Offered a crying aussie kid oreo biscuit and she lited up a smile. Melts my heart. *smile.

Evening, jogged with Val at YCK stadium, more than twenty rounds, both of us needed some de-stressing. Way to go Val ! we've done a great job! So proud of you =) Submitted my application as a Take 5 Travel Journalist. Hope i get it.... *grin
