friday, had swim lesson with Megan, though she's only primary one but im very delighted she has God in her life, so does her mom =) Well the weather hasn't been as predictable, during the lesson there were thunder roars close to the end of lesson. I was pretty worried there might be lightning... kept looking at the sky for warnings, but thank God everything was alrights followed by heavy downpour. What i learnt was to have faith like a child. Simple in thinking, trusting in God in everything. school was alright, managed to focus most of the time in class. Sadly to say some has left the class half way. watched Ice Age 2, simply hilarious... i miss laughing out loudly. I think i need cartoons back into my life for my lame imaginations. Well.. not that i do watch all cartoons , selectively i do choose to watch some. Spongebob Square Pants is one of my favourite! aint a tv addict, in a week in total i could watch less than an hour of tv... caught less than half an hour of CSI just yesterday. Well for the rest of this week, would be either in school or busy and away from tv.. tutored Cheryl, looks like i have to dig out my music theory notes and exams paper to test her about music. Sunday, tutored and worked in campers and more tutoring. Just tiring tiring tiring, dragging out of bed 735am... but at least i had my favourite subway for lunch cum dinner. =) Saturday, church sermon touched on Da Vinci Code. The flaws on that novel.. i was initally ignorant how the author, Dan Brown was mocking on Christians. Was the last english tuition with pregnant middle age adult student for the time being, I felt her baby boy's feet in her womb gently. *excited grin.. well tutoring has indeed allowed me to know.. even from the teeny weeny facts about life of a baby to things i have yet to experience. God's so wonderful! Flashing back, I really thank God for guiding me and never fail to draw me back to Him again and again. He is indeed an amazing God.. Life will never be meaningless! Some questions you may ponder... when and how did the first human appear? what am i here on earth for? what is my ultimate goal in life? why does my life seems unsatisfying? why does everyone find love except me? why does things always goes wrong for me? why can't i be someone famous and wealthy? what will happen to me be after life? These are some of the questions i have ponder about and guess what? Knowng Christ answered all these.. God is the creator of everything. He loves all of us very very much.. superb! Had Subway for late lunch.. subway subway subway *chants happily. School- another new module.. hey, its my previous lecturer, Dr Lau, whom taught me two years ago. Not bad.. he still remembers my name. I was smiling upon entering the class and greeted with a smiling expression and a wave. Tutored. School was interesting today.. paid attention, =) New lecturer, new set of notes of Principles of Drugs Actions. I need more colour pencils with me in class... to make my notes even more alive~! Head felt like exploding after much rest.. food seems half appealing. Napping became part of my lifestyle during this battle. Yumei started day one of her adminstrative job.. church friends started day one of their polytechnic days. As for me, i started off day one of year 2 in school.. somehow deep within me i was elated that im another step closer to graduation. Was encourgaed by Kenneth's PSS monthly testimony letter, *smirk.. well free subscription, no charges. (right on, Kenneth?) =P Growing in the Lord while serving can transform one over a period of time. Must say, you have done a great job! School schedule's out! Packed as before.. think im gona miss alot of home cooked meals, especially dinner soon again.. and high risk of consuming suppers. Thanks to Peng and Daz for the praise and worship songs, now i can share them with friends.. The love of Christ is enpowering. =) Counting down to Saturday to watch chronicles of Narnia during praise and worship session. well to admitt this week, i have been singing and humming praise and worship songs and tunes everytime i think of God's love. =) even when i was showering.. *blush. Not like im planning to join the next Singapore Idol auction the next time round.. but it just comes naturally in my mind *huge smile. "i want the whole world to know that Jesus lives in me!" Swam and met Ian yesterday before tutoring. *miss him! =) Unexpectedly found out that he has Campers Corner's name card.. such familiar logo, how could i forget. *smirk. These are what i have experienced and it suddenly flashed back upon my mind today: When life gets down & the world throws at me, by faith, i choose to trust in God. When i know i cant do it, by faith, i choose to believe with God it is possible. When im alone and helpless, by faith, i choose to rely on God. When im scared and disappointed, by faith, i choose to be comforted by God. When im joyous and delightful, by faith, i choose to celebrate with God. Looking at the empty cross, now i know what much my life costs. His crimson stain. work at Campers was rather enjoyable, the flow of customers were on going, hence time flies eventually. There's one interesting and friendly family buying loads of stuffs from the shop. The family consist of Chinese singaporean dad and ang mo mother and their three boys.. Its rather unusual to hear ang mos speaking in singlish and some chinese. The accent with a 'pinch of singaporean style' caught my attention.... they even came for second round of shopping after lunch. Wonder how much they spent in total... surely at least three thousands. was vaccuming the store before closing time, and singing "blessed be your name" cause the vaccum cleaner was annoying me, the brush kept dropping off and it aint easy to fix it. *urgh... Today's church service was awesomely fabulous! Well drawing close to God is always fabulous..He is the source of my joy, love, hope and peace! Though its just a few hours of intense concentration towards God, i felt so recharged and ready for any spiritual battle. Im really gratefully that Baoqi really enjoyed himself again and again everyweek. Thanks to all God and whom made it possible! =) I can sense God slowly changing and transforming Baoqi.. Had a heart to heart conversation with mom regarding future career job and recent studies. She could tell that i enjoyed the freedom of freelance job rather than a clerical job but on the other hand she will be cutting down working, so i'll have to choose higher pay freelance jobs wisely. We both agreed that God will plan the best way for our roads ahead.. its such a blessing to have a strong faith in God and an understanding mom! She once shared with me, without Christ, she wont be able to be a strong and loving mom, whom sacrificed alot! *love ya mommy! =) ate honeydew flavour ice cream on the way. Now i know why eating ice cream can make one happy *silly grin. XD Been tasting vodka drink. nice.. was just sipping dad's vodka mix kinda drink at home. Next went gym.. seeing instructor Tini just makes me smile ! She made me ran the second set of 2.4km.. *smirk. =) Was reading the book of Romans from the bible to start my day, God's words are just so enlightening. "For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's." =) Living each day on Earth may seems normal... live, work, enjoy and die eventually but to live to the Lord means bring glory to His name on each and every day of our lives here till the last breath. Thank God my working schedules for the next month doesnt clashes much, more part time staffs are coming due to school holidays. Mainly did packing in the store... not bad, it was fun! though made my hands dirty most of the time =) Even played with boss's mobile phone.. was taught backstroke and lifeswiming style with sissors kicks during swim training. day went well, Praise God, was talking with friend, Hao's encounter with God. =) Though he aint a christian but he actually believe there is only truely one God! He cant join saturday service due to dragon boat trainings. This boost my faith even more!! Dad prepared some new spicy sauce for a dish and red bean soup as dessert. *yum! Parents have been showering me with alot of their concerns as well. Sis hasnt been that bad lately, she has been sharing me about her crush in school.. Love them loads loads and loads. Mom has been sharing me about Christ and what she gain from reading the bible. Blessed be God's glorious name! I feel so blessed... if my earthly parents can give me such. What more cant my Heavenly Father give?! *huge smile =) Sunday, swam at Tampines pool, since six odd to nine pm with Yumei! =) boy do i love swimming! They have four different pools there, crowded with children having swim lessons. Saturday, was April's Fool Day, managed to fool Daz by the sms which val forward. *hee.. 0 comments |
