a surprised 45 mins of "on-the-spot" preparations for presentation of one question among 8. Initally i was worried, Oh no.... all 8 qns seems so difficult, answers and explainations are lengthy, 45 mins aint enough, why didnt the lecturer gave us more time, etc... almost at the point of giving up, i said a silent prayer. "God help me, i trust in You." Time ticked past and one particular question caught my eye.. i ended up being able to understand and managed to clarify doubts with lecturer. It was a fun lesson indeed, classmates grading marks for individual presentations.. i had a high score from some classmates. *gasp... during presentation i was nervous but somehow rather feeling confident enough as well. Worked in Campers today. Enjoyable. Took another pic with a kid in the shop, Oops... aint i always doing that, gona have a photo album of kids' pics with me at work. *smirk. Well today, it all started when i was doing some stuffs at the back... came a gal with dark blonde hair. Started off with saying hi to her and next moment conversationing with her like a friend.... aww... kids are just so adorable. Her parents were busy conversationing with boss.... so likewise we both entertained each other. Her mom's Japanese but dad's a Canadian... cool! a really sweet and cheery gal.... one of her cute habit is, she likes going to the washroom and whenever she does, she'll sing out loud inside. *grin.... working at Bukit Timah outlet for campers, tending the store alone (with God) tml.... =) 0 comments Monday, May 29, 2006 ( @ 8:43 AM )
Learnt new stuffs during gym. Female gym instructor there has written a 3 months intensive workout program for me.. *wow. Instructor is just so so so nice! Shall stick to that... =) meanwhile thinking of learning rock climbing. Dad's real good in rock climbing.... recently he climbed at OBS despite at his age and he's nick is the monkey. seems the trend of eating "Sour plum" is on the rise in class. Nic was hooked eating them for the past few lessons, a few other classmates too. Teasing each other being pregnant. I bought it too today!! *smirk... Was reading newspaper article about Jocelyn Yeo.... gosh, never did it came across that she's so so much lighter than i do despite of her built. What i liked so much about her is.... she's a very dedicated Christian! im motivated. Friday had lunch with WenRui at Cafe Cartel... as we were travelling in the train, chatting about God and His gifts of speaking in tongues. Suddenly, a passenger just next to me just joined in our conversation sharing and enlightening us about speaking in tongues. How cool is that.... one may seems that its rude to eavesdrop but hey, we all are God's children.... when two or three gathering together to fellowship, God's presence is among us! Popped into a music instrument shop at Bras Basah.. Limited edition guitars can cost up to $10,000+ *gasp.. they even had "hello kitty" guitars.. there were people testing out classical and electrical guitars. Must say, im impressed... Soon, i'll have my turn to self-learn guitar skills. Get a guitar, get chords. *excited grin Library and books. At Starbucks, a female staff was complaining that she's tired but instantly when she saw me she flashed a welcome smile. As i was waiting for my drink. she popped me a question, "have i seen you before?" nope was my answer.... but she kept guessing, "you've been PS's starbucks last few weeks?" its been a long time since i went PS, i replied. she cont'd, "but i've really since you before.... anyway, hi~ " this brings in another staff's attention and more interesting conversations... *lol All starbucks staffs i encounter at Cathy Cineplex's outlet are happy bunch of crew, everyone i faced while ordering drinks were all in high spirits. Perhaps the smell of coffee is the mysterious reason? *Smirk... Went Ikea before school.. my favourite place. Dropped by ND (bukit timah hill's outlet) to familiarise with the equipments there... encountered how the wild the monkeys there were. Snatching food from the school children and running into the forest after their "crime" but they are afraid if a passerby carries a stick. Well, i had my umbrella with me... that should do the trick =) Meanwhile at ND, An Liang shared about his awesome experiences during his missionaries trip... a walk with God, never be missed. Sharing the gospel to those who are spiritually hungry, yearning for their Saviour. Appreciate his sharings! I've never been to one before.... if God is willing, i'll be willing. Headed school after that... bummed in the library. Dinner was some japanese food.. *delicious. Fun part was bonding during dinner with classmates. Suddenly, topic changes to ghost stories.... freaky! One of them saw a girl wearing "doll-looking" clothes in the middle of wee hours... and strange tales which cant be explained, like in the middle of the night, loud showers from the shower's room were heard and when upon checking from the direction, the shower's room is totally dry.... during his army days. *freaky! i shall not be afraid for God is with me!!! *smile who is bigger? Our boss, Jesus Christ or Mr Sa-tan? *smirk. lesson was watching an old science experiment 1.5 hours long video.. dozed off alittle while watching. I flunked Marketing module from previous semester.. which leaves me no choice but to retake the paper. it was another business module tutorial in school today. Thank God, this term only has one business module before my brain goes "cuckoo". New changes of school schedule again. work at Campers Corner was fun yesterday. No pressure or stress at work (: Was serving customers and sold quite a number of chacos sandals.. One particular Holland couple was extremely happy as they shopped in the shop . Boy were they tall! ( height= 1.8m+ ) joked and conversed with them like friends... and about towering everybody else in the MRT train. Thats the best part about working in C.C.... Oh and i was being bullied by a small boy too. He came running to me punching my leg twice... On friday, another swim kid, Raine, asked, "teacher, which God do you believe it?" i replied with a huge smile, "of cause, Jesus Christ! Yea! and exchanged high-5." initally, Raine was very hyper, wild and uncontrollable during first half of the swim lesson, which made me unable to get hold of his attention.... numerous of repeating instructions again and again. Thank God... the next half of lesson, he followed instructions and was much controllable. Really thank God, if not i wont be able to teach him anything at all! *Splash.. Praise God! Yanni and Cheryl created a new term "teacher-in-law", aint that something new.. and i realised they meant, Ian. Cute bunch of girls with creative thoughts. Met up with Ian too... *miss miss.. *grin. school was enjoyable.. learnt new calculations methods for the module. Accidentally broke a small bottle of one of my favourite perfume in my room. *aww.. Yesterday, had a horrid day at work, embarassed myself at work a few times infront of customers.. Saturday's sermon was a applicable to me, as i recalled about it. But somehow deep within me i still felt happy :) knowing im going through with God.. not alone. Last friday, started off with swim lesson and tutoring Cheryl while Yanni joined. Must say, they are really a bunch of intelligent gals... Was revising Geography with them. Testing them verbally. Followed by a sudden outing at Bugis despite the warnings of dark grey clouds outside the window. Initally the 3 of us share an umbrella under the heavy downpour till we reached the shelter. Needless to say we were semi drenched.. Tried this rather special spicy mushroom tempura sort of "small bites" it was cripsy and was something different. The awesome part was at the Starbucks. That was when sudden our focus of topics from everything under the sun turned to God. *grin.. Sharing about God to him while he kept smiling and i could tell he was interested or politely trying to be interested in the conversation. Despite facing his excuses, i will.... i will still ask him again n' again to SNL! =) Could tell that he was pondering about what was shared while smiling again!!! Must say, he has a charming smile. =) (hey, so do i!! ) *lol.. jk~ Gonna keep him in more prayers.... life with God is awesome and i want to share it with everyone. They need Jesus! His love is just so amazing... im beyond words to describe how joyous i feel. Experiement day at the school lab... measuring the surfactant surface tension. Kinda like water tension. Glad it was a simple experiment but was mainly base on accuracy. Nic and i was taking pictures during experiement time.. and under the hanky lecturer's nose. went tutoring and was told "cancelled, cancelled" last min on the bus by first student. *urgh... so last min. Wasted my time. Thankfully decided to drop by Hougang Mall and the library.... cant remember the last time i step into library. Miss the environment... the smell of books.... the air condition.... Oops, thats alittle way overboard on the details till smelling of books. tutored Cheryl... lesson was fun and enjoyable. Listened about jokes about her classmates and science teacher. Well i find that being a teacher aint easy, especially a well respectable model teacher. Alot of judgements and critisim from students. *smirk... but one thing i feel, is that a great teacher can greatly influence the attitude of students. caught Mission Impossible 3 with Sinyee, while Norm MIA, unexpectedly received her sms that her dad was in the hospital ward. *gee.. it was totally fun catching up with Sinyee... =) However in the cinema, i was a klutz... the mustard from my hot dogs dripped... stains on my shirt, on my hands... on my skirt.... *blush... 0 comments Tuesday, May 09, 2006 ( @ 9:38 PM )

Just found out that Laijin is my previous first primary school senior. *gawk! since i left that school at the age of 7, i didnt managed to keep in contact with any souls there though i wish i could. All the memories in Min Xin primary. This is way cool... life is always full of surprises here and there (: praying for all out there having exams, work stress and troubles. Draw near to Jesus... all those worries will seems smaller. Casting my bags of burden by His feet... knowing that He cares and He does!!! God's way and understanding is much more higher than ours, He work in ways we cannot understand. Same with Daz.. had rojak for lunch! *hi-5. didnt know animals are way cool too. watching animals documentaries are more interesting then visiting the Singapore Zoo.. Hippos are dangerous animal, dont ever wrestle with them in the water. They are heavy with big bums but they can swim! how cool is that.... *smirk. i didnt realised how huge the difference is with fishes and dolphin swim till now. Bees aint colour blind. Elephants can stomp on the ground and the vibration can be felt within 50km.. thats even way further than i can run in a period of time. lesson in school was great. Today's the hanky lecturer... started approaching him, asking questions, clarifying doubts.. at least i don't feel that lost now. (Thank God) *smile. School had a Miss and Mr Mdis contest... seems rather glam as it was held in school hall, the winner for each will walk away with $1000. *lol... Nic is back from Bali.... Cheryl and Yanni gave me a surprised call this afternoon... such sweet gals. cheered me up just hearing their laughter.. Guessed right that they'd be taking neoprints. changed of phone. First time using a sony ericsson mobile, it wasnt as bad as i thought.. plus its orange in colour. Retro... Thanks Dad, he has no objections to the phone i wanted. *happy grin. school wasnt that bad, though most of the time i felt bored in school... reason being i didnt socialise much with other classmates since char left. Just sat alone at the back of classroom appearing unattentively but am paying attention.. nothing much have been happening these days, been the usual, work, school... but met ian yesterday afternoon. =) *huge smile Overheard classmates' conversations about graduation day with another lecturer. Where will it be held? How would it be like? hmm.... no idea, the future is beyond control but im rather surprised that graduates will be given a choice to fly to U.K's graduation day ceremony instead of having it here. Cool... of coz expenses will be bear by the student. mobile phone been giving me problems... *urgh. automatically switched off countless number of times and i had to re-turn it on.
