Came across something unaware and rather surprising article from the straits time papers about baby swimming- Click to read to find out more. (: Looks like babies with chubby cheeks does have an advantage with their round floats with their legs hanging below their float (from the article)

my whole next week is gonna be packed.. for attending first aid course, coachings, doing research, activities and alittle of house spring cleaning.

I've got an interesting news! im gonna teach infant swimming! thats ages of 6 months - 9 months. Need to do loads of research on it. The awkward part would be singing nursery rhymes while teaching the infants as they'll be held by moms in the water.

when thinking of sports car, great works of art and sometimes soccer... one will thinks about Italy. An Italian mom approached me at her pool to coach her son swimming while i was coaching two Arabian boys. Thank God, after much considerations from kid's parents, now i've an Italian student now. (God always never fail to bless me with interesting students!) I find it rather interesting handling international students. Though there might be some communication problems but thats the challenge! (:

Found some Italian language translations:

Buongiorno - Good day
Buonasera - Good evening/afternoon
Arrivederci - Goodbye
Per favore - Please
Grazie - Thank you
Scusi - Excuse me
Parla inglese? - Do you speak English?
Non parlo italiano - I don't speak Italian

I think its just so much easily to enunciate in English.

Coached a new group of caucasian kids at the childcare today. One of the usual Japanese kid-Tusbasa was indicating his thoughts through his action and verbally. He pointed at the construction building near the pool and the next moment he covered his nose and said its smelly with a cute wrinkled expression. Though we had language barrier but his message has been understood. I could sense he enjoyed swimming from his excitements.

Meanwhile the other kids cried and complained stomachache from their fear of water which just vanished after a few rounds in the pool. (:

Went blading with Lisa at ECP this early morning. What a surprise, i didnt fall... well, almost did. (: Since my blading skills aint that good but i could walk with the blades and felt like a 'transformer' cause the movements were kinda robotic, the obstacles were the humps but Lisa held my hand and pulled me along but it was enjoyable on the whole. Need more practise, ice skating is gona be the next on my activity list soon! Then hopefully after that, it would be wakeboarding. *grin

I just realised the people that i've met today outdoors were four financial advisers and only one blading instructor. Indeed i've learnt something from them and thats the knowledge of financing and investments.

i've gotten dunk into the sea after the lifeguard duty for a company's event at East Coast Park yesterday. Reason was.... i was the driest among all the rest. I stayed on the beach while the rest had to rotate shifts by kayaking. Since i've gotten all wet, why not row out into the sea. So i did. The kayaks designs are really cool! The lifeguard team took some candid pictures too. (:

woke up with muscles soreness.. thats predictable! I guess i took a longer time in my actions today.

Did i mentioned that im into korean shows? hmm... i think their acting skills are really very natural and their storylines are unbelievably interesting. One of my favourite shows that i recently watched would be 'the 1st shop of coffee prince'.

This morning i went for 3hrs of consecutive workout sessions and in additional of tennis and coachings. I could practically feel my leg muscles wobbling like jelly 'screaming spare me' during workout but they feel stronger after that. Gotten to know a new friend, well an elder lady to be exact. (:

Taught two new non local swim boys whom are rather polite and they have really cool natural curly afro hairstyle and speaks with an accent.
