Was chatting with Celamie and somehow came across the topic of BMI, body mass index, and mine is 21... the healthy range would be 17 to 22 *phew~ im safe.. Chilled out with a student at the Parkway library after our tuition session. Kinda cool.. exploring the kids sections and he was excited about his findings among the videos collections and comic books, Fantastic 4, which i accidentally found it by digging from the pile of unwanted books.. well, its really delighted to see a smile across a child's face... it's contagious! =) Almost couldnt recognised sinyee's voice over the phone... cool, she gotten my birthday present, which is coming in 10 days' time... *wow! thanks... *hugs and smooches... love ya! though i had to guess what that mystery present it was... so far still hasnt guessed it correct... *hmm... stratch my head. But one amazing thing was... the "old" jeans i wore was very loose.. and i let it hanging on my hip with a belt... while dressing up alittle punky and in addition with my curls~ *lol... though gotten some ''stares" ( weird ) but im comfy with wot i wore... Caught another real-life murder investigation.. woah, complex relationship of the victim. Ex-husband, ex-boyfriend and affair with boss.. after all the investigations, the boss was the brutal murder! Caught the 2nd telecast of Tru Calling.. hee.. thanks to Ian, too bad i had to run to tutor half way through. The most interesting programme watched was discovery channel.. about a Dr. professor whom turned psyhco and poisoned his colleagues using ants killer and patients at work. Gosh.. this dishearten me, that Dr. whom suppose to save lives end up taking lives... writting his own 'poisonous formulaes', his house was filled with jars of drugs of all sort... perhaps just for a moment of joy which changes victims' life entirely. The next was an old lady whose gotten injured from a gun shot and the bullet wasnt removed, hence the lead in the bullet stayed put and causes overdose in the body... which resulted to death. For the first time i walked a dog! *lol.. it's student, lil j's dog. *grin.. alright though this sounds kind silly but it's fun. Tv bumming almost the whole morning. Watched a show, "magic of ordinary days" or sometime, which someone touches me... initally when starting it seems like a boring school but the meaning behind it was beautiful. It's about a well educated graduated woman whom living in city marrying a country man whom she has never seen from a 'priest'. To me, it takes a huge courage and unselfishness to move and settle in a very undeveloped country where there's war... and to be married with a man (a farmer), to fullfill his father's wish, which is to get married. It seemed like her whole future is ruin.. but she trusted God that it's his will interestingly there wasnt any sparks between her and him.. they grew to develop feelings and lived happily ever after... (doesnt that ending phrase sound familiar) Sinyee's flying off tml... *waves~ will be missing ya! getting sleepless night with dark rings and no appetitte. *hehe... As the lecturer was about to reveal the answer to his question, Vish (class joker) volunteered me to draw out the molecular structure on the board.. hence was told to come up and present my answer... hey! thanks man! *mumble mumble... so there i bravely went to the board.. aww... embarassing, coz my answer was wrong. Hehe.. it's my turned to volunteer him back for the 2nd try of my qn.. ha.. he too also gotten half wrong! *playful me... smacked him with my shoe bag for 'revenge' after class... sob sob.. am so gona miss the chemistry lessons and the bunch of jokers in school. Ian informed me about some warehouse sales at riverwiew hotel..*Oops, how he knows i'll be interested upon hearing the word sales? hee... went Hougang's gym with Candy, saw an ex secondary classmate whom doesnt recognised me and is still a 'butch', followed by dinner at Punggol Park's Bliss cafe for dinner... on top of that only tutored only one student.. and we had long conversations on our view on the bomb attacks in London, international government, etc... was really interesting hearing each other's views.. but somehow there are some questions i cant answer due to my lack of knowledge of politics. before dinner, Candy and i were admiring the condo pool from her uncle's balcony.... really "rommantic" atmosphere due to the yellow lightings.. and so happened that a hunky dude holding a pair of goggles appeared, and that moment he looked up... *Oops... we aint spying on him.. just so happened that we were admiring at that moment! besides that... i've also another good reason why im happy too.. hee... *shh.. cant tell.. but sinyee knows, *hee.. will be looking forward to it next month when it comes.. *huge bleams. 0 comments Friday, July 22, 2005 ( @ 8:52 AM )
We were approached by the Channel News Asia reporters to answer some questions infront of the camera.. sounds fun, so i agreed.. while the next moment i sinyee was outta sight. Went to the shelves behind... so i had to stood alone answering nervously. They threw some questions which i could not answer brilliantly on the spot but i was gald they short 'replay' of it on tv wasnt terrible.. though i missed it, almost caught it on tv but.. wrong timing, it was only after it had been screened i switch on the tv. hmm wot was screened were summarised.. the library is centralised, they should hold educational programmes and it's air conditioned! duh right? so there i just embarassed myself but... it's a fun experience =) Next we went Suntec.. bought two Gio Junior polo tee- pink and green! hey... i could fit in kids' size, invade their world and turn back into a kid! window shopped alittle too... Lunch's decision was subway or pastamania! and tada.... we had creamy pasta! with a touch of chocolate banana pizza... *awesome dessert... a new taste to me.. *huge bleams.. ( hey sinyee, think we should do this more often.. so stress-free.. shopping, eating, joking and taking pictures!) hee.. unfortunately had to leave due to tutoring... *sorry, sy! unexpectedly had some time to kill before school (2nd last lesson, this term) bummed into classmate, Eugene... whom i have never spoken since the start of this term.. *lol... am i starting to surprise you? ha.. first time hester is anti social. Looks like he and i have a common... we both like subway sandwiches. Yeap so dinner was subway cookies.. not bad, gotten to know another new classmate in depth, the cool thing is he smiles most of the time.. Weird... one of my mobile line lagged for 2hours... only managed to receive sms after 9pm.. this morning was at least ten mins late for exam! almost walked into a new classroom with 'strangers', sitting for a different paper.. thankful, one of staff helped and guided me.. instead of lecturing why i shouldnt be late... *hee.. guess who's sitting next to the door when i opened.. yea, pj-like. *bleams On the way home, bought two hipster skirts- on sales! kinda like a bottom from Gio.. it's either brown or pink pants but the sad encounter was.. the larger size really comfy but was way too large and the next smaller size was short and not comfy. Lol.. there was wasnt any size suitable for me other that those... *stratch my head pondering.. perhaps, i'll get the larger size and put a belt.. Congrats to sinyee! her term tests have ended today... mine would be on 1 august. caught the first episode of "Tru Calling" ( cable Tv) about a Uni graduate student working in a morge and she can help the "not suppose to be dead" to stay undead while the clock is ticking.. until the time of the victim's death. Awesome show!! =) really really interesting.. if you like CSI, most probably you'll like this too. Time's running out.. another chemistry report due tml... while thurs morning is the econs paper. Im really playing with fire... at the rate im revision. It's terrible! still procastinating... truth is.. i rather destress at night watching tv rather than memorising 'die-heartly' from the notes.. The blood test was fine.. just that i felt alittle weak eye witnessing my own ribena-like coloured blood gushing out into the 12 cm cube syringe... *urgh.. it just somehow also makes me thirst for water.... It just only hurts alittle upon injecting the needle.. Next self study at Parkway's library... a whole table to myself. hee... very spacious, they have leather sofa, seats and chair. Since it rainned the whole afternoon.. kinda freezed in there. *brrr... trying to squeeze all most of the biz econs facts into my teeny weeny brain... Accidentally came across the Diesel and Fossil watches, which i've been eyeing on, are on sales until end of this month.. hmm.. should i? should i get? The price range is... 155 - 200 before discounts. Kinda silly for a watch! Especially i've more watches than my hands could wear... perhaps i just wasn't contented? *raise an eyebrow. This morning... i was trying to self "mediate" to release the stress within me.. sometimes i can build up humongous stress pressure. However, in the library there is an indoor basketball court right next to it.. and i so happened to chose that particular spot as it was at the corner. Out of the blue.. a boy glare at me and my notes from outside. Hey! mind ur own business!!! *smirk.. Luckily i behave well if not i'll just make some monkey faces at the boy. Lol.. Gosh.. Parkway area is so manifested with mob of humans... *freaked out.. 2 out of 3 buses were packed with them. Absolutely love school... somehow to me, there aint seems to have any school rules. lol.. come and go, dress and do what as i like eg: eating in class, sms openly. Of coz not to the extend way being unrespectful to the lecturer. Was laming with class joker about ass.. he started calling me "Smart ass" which i took it as a compliment when i shot some sarcastic remarks.. till my lameness reach the ultimate stage. Reason why im late for lesson was "last min, my private jet pilot was sick and im so gonna dock his pay!" haha... does sounds lame eh? Actively volunteered to write some simple chemistry molecules structure on the class whiteboard.. woa, who knows gotten applause from the whole class.. *blush.. shy, hee.. I didnt know that the lecturer knew my name upon asking questions... but he did! alittle surprised.. Met Mom and sis at Ikea, kinda crowded... had fun trying out sofa, until mom's teasing and remarks gotten outta hand. Gotten pissed.. and we had different furniture taste.. initally wanted to get the sofa but didnt.. went home empty handed. Chemistry prac 2 report to be handed up tml.. and im still aint sitting still doing it. *playful smirk.. I think im just stressing myself out at times.. i thought there were three exams next week but i remembered wrongly, it's just only Biz Econs paper. I really dont get it... why biz exams are always the first to be tested. The rest will be on 30 july and 1 august. Exclusively in addition a whole month of SCHOOL HOLIDAYS in August!! Aint that spells P.a.r.t.y??? Wanted to join Ray for his short perth trip but.... i doubt i can leave sg that long, due to tutorings. Speaking about next brand new month... it's gonna be my 20th birthday! wow.. i cant believe that i have actually lived in this ever changing world for almost 20 years. school's FUN! the Chemistry lecturer is a joker, so this made the class enjoyed his lessons.. haha.. despite the "No eating and Drinking" sign in the classroom, the lecturer was eating Mac's burger in class too.. *hee.. However, today's lesson is rather different, in the sense that.. we had practical lab in the classroom and basically just showing and explaining to us about the shape of the 'plastic' molecules models and followed by an open book test.. which i find it simple but still... it served as a reminder to me to start seriously studying for exams next week.In addition more jokes with class joker and classmates too... kept crapping, teasing and laming... boy~ do i love attending Chemistry lessons!!! endless fun... *grin ^^ A cat sneaked into my home... *eh.. didnt notice until dad saw it. Well imagine i woke up the next morning, finding the cat lying next to me.. i'll probably scream! ha.. will be chilling out at jos's home tml to catch those outdated recorded shows of "Chase" casting charming Utt.. *bleams. spent some time throwing junks from my room in the morning.. it's kinda fun doing housework! Especially after appreciating at the results.. *lol. Congrats to all TP frens whom gotten their diploma certificates, offically graduates!! =) almost used up my energy teaching, p5 student, Janice about Electricity! urgh.. kept reasoning with me.. guess now i know why girls aint expertise in Physics..stress *pulls my hair. As compared to boys students, they knew more than what i need to explain.... despite many explaination, still dont get it most of the time. Been tricked by a naught student.. coz he took out his "3230" fake mobile phone which was actually a torch light from NDP preview and i thought it was real. it looked real just that it's slightly thicker.. gotten tricked and end up having a good laugh together.. i voted at least 50 times.. in the limited 15 mins voting session. 5 cents per vote but it's all worth it for the prize! Fingers just kept pressing 'send' till my handphone showed "low batt" hee.. everywhere i go my fingers were just glued to the mobile phone... non stop, that's coz the winners will walk away with sound recording with BMG, Esplanade and live performace on National Day!! how cool is that... Even Eunice Olsen (she was there.... ) voted for peepshow (that's the band's name) Daphne Khoo was there as well, performing 3 songs. Gosh... mesmerized by her vocal. After that... headed to "Lau Par Sa" for supper with them. (16 people) talking about National Day, my birthday's approaching. A few days ago.. mom thought i was turning 21 this year. *lol.. hey! that's next year *pretends to scowl. Before dinner with primary sch gang.. shopped alittle. The fun part was approaching the female instructor there... on how to tone up flabby triceps. She demostrated and showed us some ways (at least 4 ways) very friendly instructor, somehow some of the gym users' attention was on us... which makes me feel sort of uneasy in the first place but... hey! who cares man. We are all there to shape up.. i don't care if others looked down on me. *ha.. as long as i feel and look good. Gotta admitt my weight's like a yo-yo measurement.. believe it or anot i weigh 60.4kg right now! but others dont believe that i do weigh that much.. body mass plays in my part.. After gym session with Candy, invited her over to join lunch with mom and myself. =) Mom's cooking is fabulous!! A fact that i can't deny. Something which i notice during school these days was... one of my female classmates likes to touch my waist (happened a few times) and comment how 'slim' it is.. *raise an eyebrows... er... actually she's just more rounder and less active than i am. *smirk Sorry, guess being a female.. im generally quite concern about being in shape and tone up. *lol.. :P that's coz this world is my cat-walk stage. *grin.. Today's lab was very slack... but fun! More joking with new classmates.. till to the extend of punching a dude, initally didnt duno his name but i called him "that thing" ( idea gotten from fantastic 4) coz oh boy... he is huge! tall! big built! standing 2 metre in height, as he proclaims but despite the size he's the class joker!!! yeap.. punched twice in his stomach... erm.. pretty flabby and bouncy. ha.... ^^ thank goodness he wasnt angry coz he almost knock me down with just a playful push. My lab group cheated during the lab experiment!!! shall not elaborate more on that part... we took short cuts in getting our results and not from our own efforts. *shakes head.. smirk. Dinner's treat on me~ we had KFC.. *yum! my awesomely all time favourite, Banditto pocket and cheese fries! (Oops.. i sounded like some food junkie) Upon heading back together in the same train, i didnt wanted to head home hence a sudden pop by to Ikea, while students headed home.. *hee. another of my fav. hang out.. though alone with my mp3.. (rather than be 'caged' at home... lol. i've home phobia) it was enjoyable admiring designer's designs. =) i was testing out the sofas over there and checking out the rooms.. some inspirational ideas pop into my mind. Bought cuddly cushions and covers, baby blue quilt, glasses and mugs.. *bleams. Re-kept in touch with Cui cui, whose right now in SP marine-time course. Weird thing was i woke up today from a bad dream... shared with sinyee and yue jun. A dream which i never want it to happen.. *slight frowns. Unfortunately i could recalled it clearly.. Conicidentally sinyee also had a bad dream... guess Mr. Nightmare visited us last night.. Anyway, im gald that i enjoyed my day.. had bonding with students.. one of them showed me some of the photos taken during snow season. =) the other shared with me about life experiences.. which i appreciate it. I mean.. people dont just share 'personal' stuffs with you, unless he/she trust you right?? yea, if ya willing to share.. i'll most willingly be honoured to listen. *winkz School seems rather short today.. not coz we were released earlier but.. i was paying 95% attention during Biz Econs. Bad news was.... my favourite slip ons which were repaired a week ago, was spoilt again. Gave up... in the end threw them in a bin after buying a bright striking beach slippers. Urgh.. the colour combination totally ruin my 'dark' dressing.. *smirk, aint that so hester.... Guess i've made an effort to dress up... Good news was... i had cheese steak subway sandwich.. *bagus!! hee.. *gives myself a pat on the back for workouting today... coz main aim is to exercise daily.
