my heart weighed a tonne and now its weighs-free! Im overly delighted. Finished the swim theory exams at SMU in the late evening! Im so so so so gona miss the swim course class. Just so much sweet memories (: the bonding is there and its interesting as everyone has different characters.

have to wait for the results.. probably a month later. Here's something really really cool and unbelievable. I was praying as i was revising. For the essay questions, we had to write about one 'unknown' swimming stroke and for the past day the butterfly stroke mechanism kept 'beeping' in my mind. Today's question really came out butterfly (which worth 10 marks) i managed to fill the paper with ink and realised all along i was wearing a huge butterfly necklace too. Too much of a conicidence. (:

Seriously, during midway revising yesterday i almost felt like giving up. Thinking back, i've came this far, why not just go all out for it. Pressed on and kept trusting in God that He'll bring me to greater heights. With God in the picture, its gona be a 'win win' situation!

a funny incident was.... after the exams everyone went to retrieve their bags and i was happily walking barefooted on the carpeted floor to get mine. Till the lecturer was asking "whose slippers are these?" Ooops.. you bet, its mine! My pink slippers.. *grin. I almost walked out of the room happily without my footwear on and not realising it at all. Needless to say, the class burst out laughing. *blush. i love the laughter!

After our 'graduating' class photo taking, the most of us went for the swensons for late dinner! Loads of photo taking again too! Candid shots. The camera's clicking just couldn't stop. i like Jonathon's (coursemate) professional camera with huge lens. He allowed me to try out snapping pictures with it. Oh.. camera fetish. Now, i want one too! (: gee.. Im looking forward to the next group's outing.

I haven't been able to coach at two MMI childcares outlet for 2 whole weeks! Due to many different reasons but i sure know.... that im missing the kids there! Was told that i was complimented by the kids and their teachers so they request that i coach at Kovan's MMI new pool outlet too in October. =)

Took more underwater pics today again while coaching! yes..yes.. more adorable kids' pictures. Before tutoring started, came back from the toilet and couldn't help but started smiling when Aurelia was using a metallic pan as a mirror. Holding it infront of her face combing her hair. (Oops... im busted if she reads this part) but it was a cute sight and idea. (: Eureka! Its an innovative idea subsitution for a mirror.

Things have been in my mind but im gald that im taking them lightly cause God is in total control and He is my strength. Thats how im depicted as a 'happy-go-lucky' person. Thats cause im trusting in God and not on myself. Tomorrow evening gona have a practical swim exam. *prays! =)

It was the last lesson of my swim course, today's about survival skills. We swam in our clothes and did drowing proof skills. The exciting part was a 1 metre and 3 metres bottom dive from the wobbily plank into the 4.5m pool. To me, which i call it the 'pirate plank'.... *grin.

I screamed the loudest upon on the edge of the 3m plank. I can really scream! Especially during rollercoaster rides too.Oops...Its like the episode of Mr bean with jelly legs as he was about to dive. I chickened out.. while walking half way on the plank and stepped down from it, thanks to all the encouragements from other coursemates! Stepped back on the plank again and managed to do the brave act. I don't have height phobia infact i like admiring views from afar at a extreme high point but... to fall from a great height. Its a fright of a lifetime!

Next week will be the practical and theory exams. i have to start preparing and revising for it real soon. After that attachments of 3 to 6 months in various schools. (: Thank God for making all progression in my swim career possible. Though initally there were many who doubted my decision in this swim career but there is more than meets the eye! And my secret to success is... in God's hands. *smile.

Yenching loves this current song, Point of difference by Hillsong united which is playing at the moment, so i've decided to have it back. (:

Stumble across an awesome touching song, Centre of my life by Hillsong. (Click on the weblink below) This song speaks to me, to surrender all... knowing that God is always the centre of my life. =) http://mellyrx.imeem.com/music/gPyO38ot/centre_of_my_life/

Hillsong: Centre of my life

Let my walk speak loud
And my words be true
Let my life be whole
With my eyes on you
Lord I'm stepping out
From the comfort zone
Letting go of me, Holding onto You

Freedom comes
When I call You Lord
You are Lord my God

You are the centre of it all,
The universe declares in awe
Your majesty
I surrender all
I make you
The centre of my life
Lord, I respond with all I am
You placed in me the song
Of heavens melody
Your Majesty I live to sing Your song

I have found Your peace
It replaces any fear
You have done it all
I can trust in you
So I'm stepping out
From the comfort zone
Letting go of me
Holding onto you

This is your song not mine
It is your song
that brings healing to this land
This is your song not mine
It is your song that brings feedom

Swam swam and swam.... practise strokes & stamina. The only crazy female swimmer swimming continuously. That explains the rosy look i had from the Sun. Popped by Bishan's public gym too, Its been 5 months since i last stepped in it since i swap to another gym. i felt like i was a time traveler, the gym looks so old and kinda run down from my memory. However, i was really happy to catch up chatting with the female friend instructor there and happen to be singing while im working out. (:

Unbelievable, so much difference since last oct that Carie and i met. Especially the hairstyle and image. She made me a lovely memorable photo frame with strawberries decorations. Aww.. sweets. Hugs. appreciate it *grins. I love the photo taking part and enjoying listening to her interesting stories with students at work at her school. we both are 'teachers' in a way.

went gym this morning, the usual cardios routine and what a great intensity kickboxing workout. Just me and the instructor cause the rest didnt turn up. Boy, do i enjoy kicking... trust me, im not gentle when im in the workout mode. *grin.

swim kid, faith was so upset upon my arrival and wasn't allow to swim since she ate a piece of biscuit that activate her allergy in school and vomitted again back home. Her eyes were pinkish initally when i first saw her and i thought she casually rubbed her eyes. Aww... her mom and grandpa was telling how she was waiting enticipatingly for swim lesson. Caught her sulk alittle (in a cute way) and looking all so disappointed. The worst was... being able to watch her elder sister having lesson from above. I sympathise her.

Her mom told me that my name's like a 'discipline charm', cause when she's mischevious, upon my name she'll be really well behaved the next moment. (thats a great encouragement for me!)I loathe to disappoint the kids... cause i put myself in their shoes, i didnt like the disappointed feeling either (: However, some disappointments are inevitable.

Knowing how much she wants to swim that badly, i tried convince her mom to let her play water instead of tedious drills and agreed to release her earlier. Thank God, her mom was convinced and she had a great time in the pool with her sister, Lauren. i modified the lesson and played more water games. We had a section of animal games.. by doing and mimicking the actions of the animals or moving objects. I simply love the way they mimick the penguins. Its so DARN cute! Shall video it with my waterproof camera the next time round. Created NEW actions of.... butterfly, tiger, monkey, aeroplane and turtle. You really gota have imaginations to have fun with the kids!

Count down to wednesday... finally get to meet Carie then! If i remembered correctly, it was last october that i last met up with her. *excited

Austswim course is over! Boy will i miss the course mates. It was definitely an experience. One down... two more exams to go end of this month. Thank God! Hand's kinda super tired after scribbling on the script at fast speed, imagine the anixety in me. The next local swim exams is gona be tougher... i gotta be real prepared.

Took some pics at AIS's locker hallway. Gee, its exactly like high school musical's scene, where they dance along them. So does their indoor basketball court. Oh goodie, one of my new long sleeves wet suit came and it fits so comfortably! (:

Thats Rachel (my new friend with a common passion) and Mrs Debbie from Australia, Victoria. Most importantly, i need to catch up on my beauty sleep!

Day 1 of Austswim course starts today at the Australian international school at 830am!! Thankfully, its two bus stops away from my home. (: Joselyn yeo's brother, Lenard Yeo is in class, he was sitting just slightly infront of me. Initally i suspected he looked a little familiar... he looks like Joselyn too, upon my 3 observations, no doubt its him!

One third of the course mates are non local. Spent 7 hours listening to Australian's accent by the lecturers. I felt like i was studying overseas and end of the day, i felt that i was in Australia. Their field was filled with little kids practising baseball while parents are watching, little girls are playing sandcastle at the playground. It really reminds me of 19th century's movies. Its really a different experience to study in an international school.

After that, practical lesson at their pool. One thing which im gratefully would be... our swimming pools are 50m in length but pools in Australia and some parts of America, it's only 25m. I find them kinda short. However the top swimmers were trainned in 25m pools with swimming drills. Sg shouldn't have any excuse right?? *smirk

yes, indeed it was a long and tiring saturday. Furthermore, there's a day 2 of the course tml. God answered my prayers... He provided me chocolate and swiss cake for my dinner (made by student's mom). No to mention, Serangoon's Prata store's indian rojak is disappointing. I thought it would have taste nice.

Oops... i made a huge orange popsicle. Initally wanted to chill the 1 litre pack of orange juice in the freezer for a while (quick freeze) and it ended up in there for overnight. Needless to say, the next day, its as hard as rock.

I enjoyed today's practical swim course. I felt bonding among my classmates. Though i've become alittle tanner over the period but most of my classmates are superb roasted dark. Thats kinda extreme. (:

pretty interesting day! tutored Gerald in the morning and we came upon a vocabulary 'briefcase' he has no idea what was that and started laughing and more laughter cause he thought it was a bag for underwears. lol.. Don't you just love kids and their innocent and curious doubts.(:

Lunch with Jasmine at Compassvale point. It was my second day in a row there.Have been hanging out rather often there cause it was near kids' pool and childcare's pool.

swim kid, Faith has a new black and pink wetsuit! gosh, it looks really sweet. I think im gona choose that colour too for my tailor made wetsuit. Black and baby Pink! Never seen any swim instructors in pink before usually in black, yellow, orange or blue. Then im gona be the first. (:

Dinner's topic was rather interesting, thats the secret between the 3 of us. Managed to catch up with Yenching and Keith. It was months i last seen them! everyone had new changes.

A big hand wave to Yenching. Don't get bored but stay alive at work. Can't wait to find time to catch up with you! (:

Wild rain today! Had to wake up in the middle of sleep to shut the window from the uninvited rain.No childcare morning coaching today again... due to the rain. (: That means more morning beauty sleep.

Swim kid, Shu yi (Sin yi's little sis, few posts below) and i were in her mom's car... to kill time by distracting her attention while her mom's driving, which is also a bonding phase. Guess im not the only one who likes taking pics. She enjoyed it as much as i do!

Infact i've learnt new things upon every interactions with the kids. Perhaps next time i can publish my own books on kid's pyschology! Knowing whats going on in a kid's mind and what deters or motivate them.

There is a whole new range of apple's ipods designs and colour! Their designs never fail to capture my attention.

Thank God for granting the hours of rain so that the swim lesson at Orchard's outlet childcare could be cancelled and i could managed to head to the gym. Their department is fussy! One moment they cancelled and last mintue they wanted swim lesson.

Checked out the ranges of blades for Yenching. She wants to invest on a good pair. In the future, we can blade by the beach but first... we have to master the skills.

Felt a tap on my shoulder as i was in an accessories shop. Its none other than... the two buddies, Sinyee and Norm. Such a small world. It was where i bought ballerina necklace for a swim girl's upcoming birthday present. Her mom and her is into ballet. Figurings of ballerinas could be found in her home.

Im gona boycott Chicken rice stalls! Delicious yet deadly.Oh yea, last but not least... someone's back in town a few days ago! Welcome back. *wide grin.Watch out for planes hovering the sky! *smirk

Taught a group of 3 new swim kids at Tangerine grove yesterday. It was really a different experience cause of the different characters of each individual. One water phobia boy held and lean against the wall while blowing bubbles so loudly and looked alittle amusing that i almost burst out laughing but i swallowed it down and smile instead. Oops.... but i could tell that he tried his best.

All of their parents played a huge encouraging role. It would be kinda demoralising his esteem due to peer pressure if i compared his progress with other kids. That makes me think in his shoes.. hmm.. On the whole, they were a bunch of enthusiam kids, i love their zest! Cheering for each other when facing difficulty with the water task which i've assigned, very encouraging. Wish i had captured the lesson on video. Last but not least, Thank God for the sunny weather! (:

now, i've to get more ideas of water tricks and games!

Today's church sermon was talking about facing failures. Every failure is a stepping stone to success of cause with God in the picture. Its a doorway to new insights and new opportunties. Youth Church camp would be held in RJC this coming December, was told there's a 7-11 store in their canteen. The school is four stops away from my home. *grin.

I shall take an early morning jog tml before i set out to coach. What 'interesting' stuffs can i expect at the pool? Hmm... Two new boy students. just hope they are water confident kids, that would be loads of fun! *grin. Sometimes i think its really sweet about boys is.. they drew, made coloured flowers and cards for me as Belated Teachers' Day! Im touched and appreciated by their effort. Aww... :)

Bought mermaid water tumblers for 3 swim girls as their birthday present. Im sure they will surely be fancinated about it cause its like a snow globe kinda tumbler with a mermaid spinning in it. Well, im fancinated about it too.

Stepped in Temasek poly's pool today!! Sun was blazing hot and i was brown instantly!! Lunch at Mensa canteen. Western food! Indeed a popular stall judging from their queue. Im so tired since late afternoon, even at the start during tutoring. Just felt like heading home to sleep after work but can't. Only able to dream of my cosy bed, feeling my eye bags straining to their maximum.

Walked past Bugis Village. Whats with the ladies fashion??! Its like maze of mirrors, everywhere i turned... most of the shop's merchandise are so similar. This kinda freaks me out. Most of them seems to dress fashionably eye-catchingly trying to portrait a smiliar style. Frankly speaking, I still prefer beach wear with a coat of tann skin.

Had dinner with church friends at Ichiban Sushi. They sure taste nicer than Sakae Sushi! (:

Bought a new pair of nike free running shoes which is light, flexible and so comfortable that it enables me to run smoother as it helps to strengthen my feet. hester has happy feet!! Ran 3km today. Though i aint a marathon runner but i do enjoy running.

The shoe fits like socks...i can jump, hop, twirl on my toes without feeling restrain on them. How i wish i can do flips and cartwheel like Jackie Chan! oh gee... silly me.It also reminds me of my old nike presto shoes which i liked. I don't mind getting a few more (with friend's help in getting discounts) their colours and designs are real nice!

Went to the Orchard's MMI outlet today, a mixture of the kids are Korean, Japanese, Bangadesh, British, Australian, etc. Needless to say, i had some problems pronouncing and blurting their uncommon names!

im definitely not an early morning person. I need at least two alarm devices with snooze functions to totally awake myself up. Taught two new Spontaneous little swim girls. The younger girl gave me the water babies impression, chubby and fair. They were better than i expected.. and they just love to jump into the pool with splashes everywhere.

Work was awesome today.God provided me right timing of the weather. When i was coaching, it was sunny! When i was tutoring, it was wet and rainy. (:

it can be rather fun posing even with a retard spects, that shows how important grooming is!
