Came across Aqua Aerobics 3months lessons in the morning.. kinda interested but still at the point of considering coz the students there are like much older than me.. was told that most of them are 'aunties' er.... and i'll probably be the teeny weeny little kiddo there. Hmm.... shud i? *pondering... Believe it or not!! i havent went to school for a week.. coz there wasnt school except for last friday which i had an vaild excuse. Yup! Chemistry lessons later... am looking forward to it. *cheeky grin. Dinner was fabulous! chilling out with Yenchin @ Bugis.. it was more than half a year that i last dine at Marche with her and our special ones but... those clear moments seemed like weeks ago.. We both had heart to heart conversations about our relationship problems... which is saddening coz guys seems to take for granted those stuffs we do for them... and how it actually hurts when they neglected our sms and rather hang out with other gals more than us. Perhaps the guys doesnt think it matters.. but we feel upset deep within and especially if they lie or try to hide from the truth... anyway, we gals are human with feelings.. though i know truth hurts... but we are strong, it somehow just takes time to heal after accepting the truth. After hearing some of her advices... i took heed and here i am back to the carefree self.. no point living in memories lane... if things are meant to be.. it will, if not... be gald it happened. =) *positive thoughts. So there... some in depth sharing from me. Followed on, we window shopped.. the fun part was at the ladies department. We were attracted by scarfs and shades... wooOhoo... i finally found the shades i really really like.. and it suits me! (hee.. in my own opinion)  yenchin n' me!! *bleams More workout tml... since im so free and i really really wana be tone up! ^^ Most likely gonna bring two boy students to the happening Jurong's pool next monday-Youth day, by request to play the whole day. *drats.. which mean i might be chao ta! It's spacious, quiet and condusive for readers... their sofas looks so cozy and they had starbucks there too. Watched Spiderman.. hmm think i have watched it before but somehow i perfer spiderman 2.. more exciting fighting scenes with the Dr Oct. Was tempted to buy the book on "Wars of the World" yesterday as i came across it in the bookstore.. conicidentally on my way home today, the sky was orangey and very clouded. However, there clouds were clusted in a way such that it looked like they were set off by atomic bomb.. which links me to wars of the world. *Oops! tutoring was fun, joined student-Janice (back from her holiday from her homeland) and her close kins for tea-time cum dinner.. sampling homemade 'paos' with peanuts toppings and vegetable dishes n' soup. Though i rejected politely but they insisted and handed me a bowl with a pair of chopsticks. yea.. kinda cool to be part of them, can't help but kept smiling... though i do feel shy infront of them *blush.. second round of dinner back home, mum's spagettie!! *yum. Requested it before eating at student's home.. who knows.... if not..... (yea, you know~) no choice had to eat mum's cooking after all her effort... though im stuffed up in my first dinner. Tutored 3 boys.. dropped by Suntec to collect American Eagles stuffs- a top and pink Slip ons. Surprisingly.. the road to Padang was jam! Army tankers were all in a round... Dad gotten NDP preview tix and actual day tix previous years. Perhaps i wana check it out "live" this year... hmm... depends on my mood. *smirk went Youth church meeting.. dinner was enjoyable, dine at Food Junction @ Novena Sq with bunch of saints. =) We spent about an hour half talking (marshmallow junking too) encouraging each other through our personal sharings, happenings in our recently lives and experiences in God *grin.. a shout out to val (after reading her blog) "hey.. be strong! cheer up too.. Dad simply love cooking that, there were extras for each guest to bring home. Though did workout but in turn, ate many rounds too.. However, next week... gona swim, gym.. must start routine. No pain, no gain.. the funny thing is that im starting to like doing crunches. Downloaded so so many songs today.. the speed of downloading rate is woo la la.. so fast especially in the morning.. Few of us didnt follow the lab rules (coz breaking rules is fun!!), mine was wearing uncover shoes, didnt bring goggles or spects. In the end, my slip on's stripes broke! how unlucky! However, shops are closed unable to get new slip ons and groceries shopped with Charlene at Carrefour after school.. came across rum and raisin ice cream in a tub. Bought it! Unexpectedly, bump into Ian.. seriously, i felt a huge gap between us.. a barrier. Something was amiss... through 6th sense. Was awkward upon seeing him though that shouldnt be the way... (he too was very surprised to bump into me) Guess God plans and works to make something happen conicidentally. Must admitt, i was standing there (bus interchange) waiting for the bus , if Ian doesnt see me upon walking pass me... i'll just pretend i didnt see him. guess my character's like.. once ya appear unfriendly, unapproachable or cant be bothered.. i will shun away from you despite my unsuccessful attempts to get to know the person after a while coz the message "PLEASE get away from my life" from the person is clearly expressed out to me... But life still goes on with a positive attitude.. Well, before aboarding the bus peck him a kiss on the cheek (wonder he still has feelings for it) but seriously deep inside me.. my heart sunk.. with a pinch of disappointment, followed by conversations via smses. However, my mind was blank and inside me was 'internally struggling' and emotionally unstable too.. After some "cheem" stuffs i smsed him (woah.. suddenly i didnt felt like i was thinking like hester- i became firm and dead serious ) not the usual hest. Which im trying to deliver the message to him across once and for all.. Hoping for "reality" improvements in the near future.. my hope in him hasnt shattered. Sis's 11th bday tml.. kids coming *ahem that includes yumei and her younger sis. *grin =) Last but not least.. two of the boys whom bullied hest. Oh boy are they in big trouble.. just lodge complain to their nearest kin.. i do felt bad but.. somehow i cant let it goes on, before i landed up in hospital with broken bones. Seen tremendous and immediate improvement while tutoring them, must say im impressed, well behaved.  invented by Charlene Li!!! water gloves... we did some fingers wobbling dancing with it.. ha..  pj-like!! Spent 2 hours relaxing while doing facial by student's mom. =) to catch up with my late night yesterday... slept at 230am to complete coursework which will be marked by British markers. Thankfully tutoring was relaxing with 2 students.. played 'formed a word' with one of them during lesson. *grin. It was fun and it's a draw!! *smirk :P check out our silly words  I was touched by the personal conversations with students' moms. How they really yearn to see their sons do well in their exams and they request for more lessons. weird eh?? Decided Subway as dinner before school but... ended up having laksa which was right next to the subway's outlet. Finished reading boogeyman during dinner... was expecting more from the ending but it's a great book anyway, i could imagine myself in the shoes of the lead character. Now reading about the movie "Cellular" thicker book compared to the previous... The bruises on my arms looks like vampire bites.. reddish brown tattoos.. badly abused impression. *urgh.Was rubbing them during class hoping that they will heal speedily. Charlene gave a great idea of outlining with black pen to turn them into tattoos.. Term 1 of school will be ending soon... Exams in July!! Last but not least.. i miss the beach, the pool, fun, tann, laughter, silly memories and Sun! will find time for pool and gym date with Charlene next week! Watched 'Swap Lifes' life story of two families whom get to swap homes for a short period of them and try to change and influence good habits into each other's family. One family was filled with sports freaks the other is the obese and lazy freaks.. initally the obese freaks were persistant with the change of sports into their lives and their junk eating habits. However, the other sports freaks were banned from doing sports and they find their lives dead bored. To cut the story short, the obese freaks had slowly turned into a sporty family!! Wait a min, this reminds me.. i need to get back to my exercise life!! Right now, am into reading films books.. at this moment it's the book-Boogeyman!! i read it anywhere, in the bus, breaktime between school lessons. This sounds alittle weird but im into wine tasting now... yea, i guess it started recently when i was killing time in the supermarket and was admiring those wine bottles on the shelves and was keen in tasting them.. also a fact that i like rum & raisins!! *drools I had to watch one of my membership card being abuse to unlock a locked door... what happened was, the student accidentally locked his room door with two bunch of keys inside and he had no spare keys, to prevent from scolding he had to either breakdown the door or unlock it by means of tools/cards.. the silly thing was we used force, knife, fork, metal wires, paper namecards, etc (as shown on tv to unlock a door by a criminal) Sometimes i really wonder.. since when a tutor like me became so involve into such things & also sharing homemade sandwiches with students too. 0 comments Thursday, June 16, 2005 ( @ 8:42 AM )
Bought two destroyed skirts which are needless to say are my favourites *hee.. flip flops, tank tops, gums, retro Mickey watch, Badges, DVDs (Alot like love, The longest Yard & the sisterhood of travelling pants) So much to shop but so little time, hmm.. gona list down some items to get the next visit there, for instance more skirts.. *hee though didnt take much pics as you can imagine the photographer preoccupied with shopping... tsk :P Their stuffs are so much cheaper than those sold locally and is more fun than shopping in Orchard.. A pair of Levis jeans is less than sgd $100... gosh and i spent extra $50 locally for it. Learnt something new regarding ladies' shoes/heels from yumei's sis.. ^^ Normally i dont waste time in a classy looking shoe shop but... i ended up doing that while trying some of the slips on and found an unqiue slips ons. Jalan down the streets from Lavender to Bugis and to Suntect, Esplanade & City Link again.. 3 hours to kill before school. Borrowed books from the Library at the bay (: To my surprise bumped into Candy blindly as i was walking towards Subway for dinner... It was really nice of her to accompany while waiting for her friend whom's stuck in a traffic jam. Hence it was a chance to relive and recall back polytechnic moments. This sounds kinda weird but... i saw an expression of a butch-girl with her friends as i carried my 1-foot long tray of sandwich set meal. Watched Mr & Mrs Smith with sinyee, a pretty good show about couples.. a mixture of comedy, action and lovey dovey scenes. *ahem.. basically the show does relate alittle how i feel about my current relationship. It's about the barrel thing.. as the show depicts.. he lives in own life and she lives in her own life though they have been together for 'five or six years' under one roof. John Smith doesnt know his wife's professional job ,which is a professional killer than he is.. It's just merely for the sake of together... that's why daily conversations between them are mono, constant ritual conversations and the only thing they are engrossed in are their killer duties.. sadly to say communication totally breakdown... but the cheese hotdogs and ben & jerry ice cream are delicious! Yum! Far East's Subway for dinner.. one of the senior female staff's very approachable.. actually all of them are equally as approachable. That particular female staff exchange smile everytime our eyes met. ^^ but they took my order wrongly... order cheese steak and had turkey ham instead.. oh well, it's alright i guess as they are both food, most importantly it's Subway! Am Subway No. #1 fan!! (betcha sinyee's drooling upon reading this) :P Charlene forgot to bring her mobile phone out.. hence couldnt contact her as i was terribly late meeting her for gym, reason being i spent two hours in a facial shop with two of students' mom.. free facial as they need people to practise on before they graduate with beauty certificate. collected camera from Val and had a pink pouch, kawaii! *sweet (>.<) thanks =) school was surprisingly rather short today... only 2 hours of it but.. exams are approaching in July before a month break in August! hee.. D.I.Y manicure on sis... hey looks not bad for first tryouts but would recommend more practises for myself. Decided to make fresh fruits shakes.. just eaten all the strawberries from the fridge. Hmm.. sinyee gave an idea of durian shakes.. i dont mind trying it but.. will it cause stomach ache and end up 'meditating' on the toilet bowl?? :P guess wot i bought? i enjoyed the trip in some ways ( bonding with church saints) but missed home and the food back here! bought some stuffs there and must say its quite cheap... in total i've only spent about 100 sgd dollars coz didnt carry much ringgit but the next trip will be different! On the hold, my level of stress has dropped to almost ZERO percent. It's really very different when i was on my way back home.. everything seems suddenly so slow pace for me and ive forgotten some school stuffs. For instance, the next lab report due next monday and im very unaware of it. Unexpectedly, Fraser Hill had a incident of 4 missing kids (oldest 14 to youngest 9)... it's the exact resort i was staying on. Gosh... thank God they were found after missing for 3days! We saw a rainbow too! it was amazing.. and im recharged back to the extreme bubbly self! feeling so happy and the reason behind is.... the joy from the Lord! *wide smile Out of the blue, received a sudden short listed interview call yesterday (which i didnt apply at all) as a management trainee post in Fuji Xerox Co. Headed down for it today.. with my resume! a big shout out to those who gave me advises how to write a last min resume. =) Must say the interview went smoothly... if they're keen to hire me, i'll be updated with the 2nd interview. Seriously.. i dont mind working for them.. the job scope seems challenging n' cool. well guess i'll have to pray about that.. =) On the other hand, good news / bad news? lost 3 students.. it's good! Hopefully am able to travel to Germany in either December or April next year but it's gona be freezing cold in Dec due to winter. saw Devi in the mdis bi-monthly magazine newletter, a group photo of her with DJ Carrie Chong and other friends. Initally didnt wana flip the magazine (coz of laziness) but... unexpectedly spotted her as i was reading about her course, mass communications. What happened to Devi now is a mystery to me... ever since her prince charming appeared. Window shopped alone at bugis and suntec city.. to kill some time in between second and third student of today. Bought two sets of sushi platters... one for a gal student (her fav.) , one for myself.. also bought a box of almond nuts with chocolate covered donuts. ha.... am a junkie tutor!!! *smirk. Bought another skirt n' belt... it's skirt.. hard to resist! school was quite alrite today.... biz econs tutorial , was distracted coz didnt feel well.. most probably affected by the weather n the throat ( still hurts).... Strangely, stomach just aint well enough to eat solid food.. yoghurt milk for breakfast and Gelati ice cream (rum and raisins- yum!!!) for lunch until sushi n' donut for dinner... somehow i dont mind another round of ice cream but not those which melts so darn easily like Gelati's. Two more days and im on my way to Frasier Hill~ hee.. four days away from students. Boy do i like that feeling... Leaving on Saturday evening conicidentally, mom and sis will be leaving on saturday morning as well till monday (2 days lesser than mine) wish i could punch sis in her face... irritating fellow, kept talking 'unpleasant' stuffs about me daily to mom so loudly as if im deaf..... she finds fault with me... from top to my toes.... *gesh... *rolls my eyes. i sense Jealousy! hahaha.. beat it man, u little kiddo! if not i'll slap u ah! ha.. that's my fav. phrase to boy students too, whom gets on my nerves. Of coz my mature way to handle sis would be.... ignore her, turn a deaf ear to her. "Life is much happier with lesser pest flying around the ears.. walked along streets in town....came across some graffiti painting... awesome! Took some pics of them.. though i may seems to appear to unappreciative about arts... actually i aint... i like things associated with creativity n' imaginations. *bleams. Take for an example cooking is an art too.... the way the chef cooks, mix, present the food/desserts in the plate... hey, reminds me of nydc's mudpie. Along the streets... there some stalls, one them which caught our attention was SPONGEbob... oh yes, you heard me correct. However, i aint that crazy about it as compared to them... i just find it 'cartoony' cute and it entertains me. ^^ Charlene bought a spongebob boxer... cool! was thinking of it but... didnt quite like the material, if not i'll get one for my dad! ha... dad has one 'cartoony elvis' boxer! cool eh? hee.... after two rounds of dinner at subway and Thai Express... i finally surrender. Next we went for a skirt scouting for nic's very first skirt, well she's more to the jeans type... so there~ in the end, window shop at hereens, nic and i gotten a skirt each.. im so into ringer tees now! found one which says...
