One third of the course mates are non local. Spent 7 hours listening to Australian's accent by the lecturers. I felt like i was studying overseas and end of the day, i felt that i was in Australia. Their field was filled with little kids practising baseball while parents are watching, little girls are playing sandcastle at the playground. It really reminds me of 19th century's movies. Its really a different experience to study in an international school. After that, practical lesson at their pool. One thing which im gratefully would be... our swimming pools are 50m in length but pools in Australia and some parts of America, it's only 25m. I find them kinda short. However the top swimmers were trainned in 25m pools with swimming drills. Sg shouldn't have any excuse right?? *smirk yes, indeed it was a long and tiring saturday. Furthermore, there's a day 2 of the course tml. God answered my prayers... He provided me chocolate and swiss cake for my dinner (made by student's mom). No to mention, Serangoon's Prata store's indian rojak is disappointing. I thought it would have taste nice. 0 comments |
