Today's pool (pics below) was rather filled to the brim. Shuan's loud and cheerful greeting brought a smile to my face and he likes posing the 'twist' pose. Im sure you're able to guess who Shuan is. Coach and i were observing the kid while sharing his experiences with kids of different characters. Been passing by alot of doughnut shops lately, looks tempting with rich flavourings but hmm.... ain't craving to sink my teeth in them. 0 comments Monday, November 26, 2007 ( @ 9:23 AM )

I love the sounds of the kids calling my name. Their cheerful voices with so much enthusiam even from afar i could heard their (Joshua and Keith's) excited greetings today :) *smile. sweet! Coached some little kids in NUS's pool today! the uni students were practising canoe water polo at the deep pool. woa thats cool. I'll surely try that if i get the chance. Their training looks tough but i like tough trainings. Too bad i can't join friends for kayaking today. Keith: holding umbrella Joshua: with goggles Noel: the smallest boy Rachel's pictures (below) were taken a day ago on friday. Meanwhile student, Ariel cried before lesson time and refuse to swim which made her mom really angry. So left Rachel in the pool with me. After lesson she showed me her brand new pink roller blades and pink cushion guards. aww.. sweet. I like pink too. *blush~ 0 comments Thursday, November 22, 2007 ( @ 5:37 PM )
For my own swim kids, im greeted with excited smiles and playful expressions. That reminds me of adorable little Ervin, everytime i think of her. Sweet thoughts just filled my mind. Bumped into neighbour, Nicholas, on my walk home. Caught him eating chips! Was tutoring Aurelia in her bakery kitchen yesterday. I've always enjoy tutoring her. Handcraft figurings by her and her mom. cute!!! Christmas log cakes orders anyone? :) 0 comments Monday, November 19, 2007 ( @ 7:24 AM )
Back then 1 cent was hard to earn needless to say 15 cents just for a swim. He and his friends either collected condense tin can to sell or catch grasshopers to sell (1 cent each). Life is sure tough back then. I was curious where Q-Bristo was initally for the past few weeks and i was stunned when i stood infront of it, yea stunned with mouth huge enough for a bee to fly in. *smirk. It was just right next to the Kovan's MMI childcare which i've coached for the second time today. Expect the unexpected, i must say. Today, i had to take over coach's classes cause he was away for his nanny's funeral. Playful kids but i managed to 'bully' them by asking them to raise up their hands if they have something to tell me. Alright, in a better word, its called 'discipline'. So its like... kids raising up their hands like flags just to say a sentence or complain about something they dislike at that moment. *tsk tsk.. but in the end, they gotten too excited and raising hands method didn't work for long. *geesh 0 comments Sunday, November 18, 2007 ( @ 2:27 AM )
Taught two new charming kids. Joshua and little 3 year old Keith near Maris Stella School. It was their first lesson. Joshua's eyelashes are superb long for a boy's, twice the normal's length. Every woman's envy of long lashes.. little Keith's features looks like my little cousin's. Keith is mischevious.. pulling my ponytail and giving a excited laughter while we were blowing bubbles. Hid my water toys- rubber duckys under his towel to bring them home. Both of them likes slapping 'hard' hi-fives. Keith was requesting if i could go to his home after the lesson so that i can play with him! calling my name every mintue to get my attention as i was changing in their home's bathroom. Upon leaving, little Keith stood behind the ajar door bidding "bye bye, Teacher" awww.. sweet. The boys definitely made my day. ![]() the baby's pic lighted up a huge smile on my face instantly! Slow down and capture every moment of life. 0 comments Saturday, November 17, 2007 ( @ 8:48 PM )

Mcfly's : The heart never lies. Some people laugh, And some people cry, And some people live, And some people die, And some people run, Right into the fire, And some people hide, Their every desire [Chorus] But we are the lovers, If you don't believe me, Then just look into my eyes, Cause the heart never lies And some people fight, And some people fall, Others pretend, They don't care at all, If you wanna fight, I'll stand right beside you, The day that you fall, I'll be right behind you, To pick up the pieces, If you don't believe me, Then just look into my eyes, Cause the heart never lies I might be having swim attachments in National University of Singapore (NUS) swim school or the Australian International school. Hmm... I think i'll perfer the International school. Everyone has their secrets... im hearing too much of secrets these days. Ugly secrets, dirty secrets, lies, whatever. My lips are sealed. :) 0 comments Tuesday, November 13, 2007 ( @ 7:48 AM )
if only i could, i shouldn't have kept my promise (to Mango) and turned up on Sunday to play volleyball. But i figured out i should keep my words even though i had to rush after coaching nearby in the morning, when i only had one and half hour to spare before heading to next pool. Though initally Yenching and i have planned two weeks ago to spend together to catch up instead of volley game with Mango's group but she felt sick from eating too much junkies. Last Sunday's evening i had to rush home after evening coaching cause i've arranged the pc repairman a day ago to repair the crankiness of my pc. The whole Sunday's activities seems like there are misunderstandings. A grave one, i must say. *sighs. =( Today's mood was like a rollercoaster. Sinking with a burden heart, with tears of cause but unexpected the awaited good news was.. after my first coaching, i found out that I passed the swim course exams! My heart was pounding so anxiously when Yvonne was checking my email on my behalf. Now gotta find attachments from the list of companies and schools. Then back to the sinking feeling again. Yenching was there for me! *sisters hugs. Thanks for cheering me up! *pinch my own cheeks to smile. gee.. what a fake smile. 0 comments Sunday, November 11, 2007 ( @ 4:40 AM )
Paired up with Mango for the two-girls team and we won the two-guys team! Actually Mango is just way too good to win her way out with words and i was being tricky in my serving. The guys had to grit their teeth in defeat. *smirk :) Today's 3 hours straight of swim groups were extremely challenging to juggle because every half an hour, another kids kept coming it. The kids were all in different learning stages and ages. Challenging to instruct them and making sure that they do them and still able to captivate their attention. Initally was alittle stress but seems like time flew past and i ended up enjoying it. Parents were looking and im so sure they were thinking if i could handle so many kids at a time and to spend enough attention on each of them! Of cause as a parent, they expect more attention spent on their child but im gald there aint complains. The kids had so much fun that the parents actually smiled seeing them enthusiastically challenging upon the mini competition which i posted them. The boys teamed up against the girls. Boys, boys, boys! they just have to win, I guess its a nature in them to 'must' win. Thats something i can learn from to boost my motivation. (: I get the concept that the trend of the life of a lifeguard sure is a 'happening' life. Too much time to daydream and think of out-of-a normal-mind happening stuffs. Even occurs at the public pool near my home. 0 comments Thursday, November 08, 2007 ( @ 6:29 PM )
Just seen Norm's new hairstyle, she looks funky! Jonathon and his best buddy have loud hairstyles too! but I can't change mine drastically... a huge sorry to someone whom i made angry and upset. I guess i wasn't fully aware but i did sense something was terribly wrong.*frowns. Are we at peace?? =) *weak smile. And i sure hope your limping leg is feeling better. 0 comments Monday, November 05, 2007 ( @ 6:37 AM )

Had lunch with Ervin and Megan, and their parents at Airport's Swensons. Megan sobbed sliently in the car when she couldn't get the chance to sit on my lap in the car and bicker with Ervin over me. *awww... Nevertheless, it was Megan's turn on my lap for the return journey. Their mom was telling me, in HK they don't serve much spicy chilli as compare to sg. HK's Macdonald doesn't provide chilli sauce too! (gee, i didn't know that) Thats definitely one of the thing she'll miss there and the malay food. The girls went to Parkway mall to have a haircut at a kids' salon which was kinda cool. They get free kids stuffs, and after their new haircut, the hairdresser will spray washable colourful paint on their hair. Before leaving them. Ervin run up to me to give me a hug and a kiss on my left cheek! im so gona miss badly them when they fly off this tues. ![]() ![]() 0 comments Friday, November 02, 2007 ( @ 10:00 AM )
After we were almost done with tea at the Golf club, Megan was sitting on my lap leaning on me while playing the games from my mobile while Ervin suddenly reached out for me and hugged me with a kiss on my cheek saying she loves me! while i was eating and conversing with their mom. Aww... its just so awfully sweet. These two kids definitely has a very special place in my heart! I felt like a princess when im with them, showered by their attention. They are flying off this tuesday but their mom welcomed me to visit them and bring me around for a tour in Hongkong too. However, they will be back in December. During the car journey, we played a guessing game called, i spy with my little eye. Kinda like, i spy with my little eye something that starts with letter "C" then gotta guess what could it be. Who says kids' games are boring? Its mind boggling cause there is so many things to guess and only one clue. Next week, gona coach at Kovan's new MMI childcare outlet. (: *wooo hooo.. new kids. That means unending fun at work. I love my job. Thank God ![]() 0 comments Thursday, November 01, 2007 ( @ 10:43 AM )
Bought some yummy blueberry and walnut muffins for swim kids, Sarah and David. Lesson went great! but David made his mom angry after lesson and sulked most of the time. Kids do have bad moody days too. Imagine everyone of us has a transparent bubble shaped bowl over each of our heads and in the bowl it contains air. However, the smokers... their bubble bowls are filled with smoke hence can't see their face nor their expressions. Imagine almost everyone has smoke in their bubble bowl, can't tell apart who is who. Thats just my visualisation. (: smoking is now a trend more than a need. Sometimes it just break my heart to see an old uncle or someone at a tender age holding a lit cigarette bud. Its like having medication daily but in terms of tabacco. Imagine a global day of smoking-free, i wonder hmm... how many cigarettes will that add up too. I just realised that swimming has improved my flexibility by alot especially in today's badminton game! im loving the game (: gona get hold of roller blades and let the hot wheels roll... and challenged myself to master the skill. 0 comments |
